The Pledge of Allegiance to our great Country, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, is under siege. That is why I am going to win the Great State of Minnesota in the 2020 Election. People are sick and tired of this stupidity and disloyalty to our wonderful USA!

Democrats had to quickly take down a tweet called “Kids In Cages, Inhumane Treatment at the Border,” because the horrible picture used was from the Obama years. Very embarrassing! @foxandfriends

The Fake News Media loves the narrative that I didn’t use many banks because the banks didn’t like me. No, I didn’t use many banks because I didn’t (don’t) need their money (old fashioned, isn’t it?). If I did, it would have been very easy for me to get.

....And remember, a bank that I did use years ago, the now badly written about and maligned Deutsche Bank, was then one of the largest and most prestigious banks in the world! They wanted my business, and so did many others!

Regarding being disappointed that the British Ambassador resigned...
Same here.

Bad precedent. Trump now knows if any Ambassadors says bad things about him, he can have the government just refuse to work with them and they’ll resign. So he can pick and choose compliant Ambassadors.

Fits in with what a monarch might do.

Didn't Deutsche Bank sue Trump for failure to pay back a $600 million loan?

There is no "simple" way to change that law, either practically or politically.

Well, and it's horrible idea, too.

The whole idea of voting members of society being invested as citizens is to avoid outside international influence. If the requirement to vote was to reside in the country the 2-3 months before an election necessary to register to vote, then it would be trivial for outside nations to literally relocate a significant number agents to key states to swing the election any way they like and then bring them home.

You want Donald Trumps? Because that's how you get Donald Trumps. [/Archer]

That's a good answer.

The point of the question was more to illustrate that the difference between citizens and non-citizens can vary, and that there are several good ways to go about it.

I feel kind of bad for Jim Acosta (CNN White House reporter). It's clear that The PDJT hates him (no big loss). But he's got to be running around saying "Not me! It's not me!!!"

I don't feel bad for anyone who acostas me, asking "What you reading there?"

Thank you for precisely and unironically reinforcing my point.

Jim Acosta (CNN reporter) is not Alex Acosta (Trump labor secretary).

So? I'm asking whether said differences could simply be removed. You live in the US, you're a citizen.
In San Francisco, illegal immigrants are allowed to vote on certain local matters, I think it was education board or such.

It makes sense, but Mr Trump doesn't like it.

Trump and Barr announce: supreme court decisions do not apply to the president

"Trump expected to order citizenship question added to the census" (NBC)

and by the way, the election is also cancelled. It would end in an embarrassing way for Trump.

Urgh. I think it's past time for the removal of Barr, especially with some of WTF crap he's now pulling.

This is NOT NORMAL. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE. We cannot let it become either.

Still, that's likely not even the worst thing he's doing right now. For example,

There's... so much wrong here as the GOP is actively working to sabotage the separation of powers.

Oh, and in tangential matters, we have another development in the evils of ICE... ICE is trying to intimidate immigrants who have gone into sanctuary by fining them up to $500,000

This is again, not even remotely normal. And, quite seriously, I have to wonder how the American people benefit in any way from this madness. Other, that is, than the Americans who want to profit off of incarcerating them and making them work for less than a dollar an hour. Or, to put it a little differently, the Americans who want slave labor. Because, sadly, this is still a thing. Average pay for prisoners doing "non-industry work" was down to 86 cents an hour in the US in 2017. Also of note... detained immigrants can legally be paid $1 an hour for their services.
Barr is also claiming the Democrats spied on the Trump campaign despite overwhelming evidence it didn't happen. The FISA warrant was above board.

It's not the same Acosta?

No.

Jim Acosta is journalist, CNN's senior White House correspondent who Trump briefly barred from the White House Press Corp about a year back.

Alex Acosta is Trump's Secretary of Labor who back when he was serving as Attorney General of South Florida made the deal with Epstein.
