First line (iirc) covered it. There were NO women. That was the primary/complete reason for them (the peg houses that is....). As speculation though - it is likely that as women showed up directly to make money by prostitution or looking to marry
the peg houses vanished as there was no longer a need for them. Again, please feel free to research this.

I really do not make this stuff up and I already was aware of this and much other re: prostitution and in 1964 in my English/L.Arts class ( Nashville high schools English/Language Arts senior class required a research paper ). I did mine on the history of Fanny Hill (Cleland). Got an A with a note that my transitions were a touch fast.

A great day on the Golan. PM Netanyahu and I had the honor to dedicate “Trump Heights” — first time Israel has dedicated a village in honor of a sitting president since Harry Truman (1949). Happy Birthday Mr. President!! …
 
For those who are old enough, I still remember Comical Ali, aka Baghdad Bob. I recall not just his outrageously silly claims about the Iraqi army hurling back the infidel invaders by the tens of thousands, and the US forces begging for mercy. I also recall seeing the press conference where he denied the invading US forces in Iraq were nowhere near the capital city...while the sound of US tank engines and gunfire could be clearly heard just outside the room. He was pathetically ridiculous, and I suspect he knew everything he said was a total lie. And yet he kept it up until the end...because some Iraqi people still believed him.

This is how I see the Trump administration and Trump now. He will be voted out, yet continue to declare himself the president-for-life and have to be dragged off kicking and tweeting in a butterfly net to a "secure institution for the terminally bewildered". And the Trumpites will STILL not admit the obvious, that had been under their noses since before 2016.

I vaguely remember Baghdad Bob. I got the impression that he knew he was lying. I’m not entirely convinvced that POYUS knows he is lying.
 
I just realized that the Trump Presidential Library will be in Mar-a-Lago.


Why do I expect that researchers will be charged for each personal document that they view?
