The initial description of the Smollett attack sounded like a hoax right away. This one does not. The only somewhat questionable element is the claim that the guys threw coins. Presumably this was some childish form of "payment" to get them to kiss. It's somewhat odd because it wouldn't be typical for robbers to throw money at a person that they plan to steal from. Maybe the decision to rob wasn't the initial intent and instead it was just to harass and verbally torment.

They are a legal and effective anti personal weapon for causing non lethal pain.

Also, there are some women who like to view porn (it isn't solely "men's entertainment" if there are women who watch it too). In the most patriarchal religiously conservative, anti-woman societies, like Saudi Arabia, porn is illegal. If porn caused violence against women, you would think it would go up after the internet was invented, but it hasn't.

I'm not mind reader, but I read Cain's posts as snide jabs at... shall I say less mature and civilised posters, the same way someone could write "inb4 some goon saying they should just have kissed".

When I was active on Twitter, whenever someone posted something negative about Trump, us Trump opponents would mockingly write "butheremails!!" to spite Trump supporters who used this stupid whataboutism for the longest time.

2. It was the result of a strange demand.
3. It was a hate crime.
4. The victims were photogenic but also obviously severely harmed.

Heh. The basic problem is that London is becoming more and more lawless, provably. This is generally attributed (correctly, IMO) to under-funding and under-manning od the police over the past few years. My suspicion is that it's deliberate, 'problem-reaction-solution'. Coming soon - a massive recruitment drive for Greater London police officers, with particular attention paid to "ethnic representation". ETA>> this may be presented as "radical restructuring".

Yes it is and yes it is related to "austerity" but you need to keep it in perspective, we are seeing rates of say murder we haven't seen for 10 or 12 years. So for example London is still "safer" than when I lived in London.

Yes, a cheap airline that does every trick to make you pay extra. Most companies charge a booking fee for paying using a credit card justifiable because they are charged. Ryan air use to charge a fee for every individual on the booking and every leg not just the one payment.

And yes because that could have been me and my girlfriend on a night bus I was very upset by it.
