I'm no expert but I'd say go ahead with the Impeachment and Conviction, then get Pence to the office and get Trump physically out of the building to his trials in NYC and elsewhere.

Absolutely, impeach. The smartest thing Democrats could do now is to impeach.
I agree 100%.

It has to do with the Mueller report, the current thread.

No it doesn't. Trump was never in court for any of that, so presumption of innocence is irrelevant.

If you meant that we should strive to use this standard in our personal judgments, I agree. But I suspect that's not what you meant.

You do understand what I was responding to a question about a hypothetical, right?
Do try and keep up.

You can keep repeating yourself yet you can never prove me wrong no matter the angle. I realize you're butt hurt but get on with something else. You know I was right then and you know I am right now. Argue with the ACLU if you please, we have the exact same opinion on the 5th Amendment.

Как указано в отчете, после расследования ... если бы у нас была уверенность в том, что президент явно не совершил преступления, мы бы так и сказали.

Okay, Frank. That's enough egyptian hieroglyphics, now!

Мне понравился этот пост, товарищ.

I can sum up the rigorous logic and evidence-based standards by the police state liberals that inhabit these forums.

"Trump is guilty of collusion."
Evidence: I hate Trump.

"Trump is guilty of obstruction."
Evidence: I hate Trump

'Trump is Putin's puppet."
Evidence: I hate Trump

"Trump should be impeached."
Evidence: I hate Trump
Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your time visiting. While this sub forum can get a bit raucous, there is an abundance of value to be had. But you’ll have to step up and put in some work yourself; silly nonsense like your post above won’t be taken seriously and will be mocked for the lazy thinking it reveals. (I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt that you’re not here to troll.)

The above is sincere, by the way. (I’ve had a trying day and would like to scratch out a little to be positive about.) Happy travels.

No, the Mueller investigation was a coup attempt and the coup failed. This is why the Leftists are so upset.

Now how exactly did Putin help Trump win? This is an oft repeated slogan but there is never any evidence behind it.
And now my Spidey sense is tingling a little bit. Or should I say Logger sense?

Mueller over stepping his mandate

With Mueller's press conference today nothing was said that wasn't already in the Report, However Mueller proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was from day one looking to destroy Trump in that his little mention that as far as Obstruction he couldn't prove it nor could he disprove it...basically he restoked the fire for the Traitorous Demonrats to go for impeachment. THIS IS NOT a prosecutors job, his opinion is Non-Sequitor and he has no business giving an opinion PERIOD!
A Hack working for the most Vile Political party in the history of the US of A...
The best thing that can happen is that the DemonRATic party should be abolished for the sake of the Constitutional Republic.

You can keep repeating yourself yet you can never prove me wrong no matter the angle.

Your Bigfooter/conspiracy theorist background is coming out again...

Conspiracy Nutter Rules
Rule 1: No conspiracy nutter is ever wrong
Rule 2: When a conspiracy nutter is wrong, refer to Rule 1

I realize you're butt hurt but get on with something else. You know I was right then and you know I am right now. Argue with the ACLU if you please, we have the exact same opinion on the 5th Amendment.

YOU... ARE... WRONG!

There is NOTHING in the Laws of the USA that permit a person to obstruct justice, no matter what their claimed motivation might be.

I will admit to being wrong in this if, and only if, you can quote US Code that implicitly states that a person may obstruct an official investigation when they believe themselves to be innocent, or when they think the investigation is unfair.

Until you can do that... YOU.. GOT... NOTHIN'!

(NOTE: Your irrelevant ACLU quote is silent on obstruction of justice)

You’re wrong, and have been shown, in detail, how you are wrong.

Isn’t it better to correct one’s thinking? To learn rather than remain ill informed?

Oh my word! I wish.

I am opposed 100 percent to impeachment. The, for lack of a better word, sin of making Trump president can only be redeemed by the voters. We cannot afford to give the failed genetic experiments and products of incest who go to his rallies a knife in the back narrative. We know what their kind do with such narratives and we should not provide the opportunity.

The rest of the world needs to see the American electorate reject Trump so we can begin to reclaim our leadership role for the free world. The results of what happens when you pull a 20 dollar bill on a fishing line through a trailer park need to feel rejected by their countrymen.

I know fighting it out at the ballot box will be ugly. I know even more families will be torn asunder in the next election. However, loyalty to the nation versus locality to Trump is a division we should seek to make. What is the value of one family compared to the future of an entire nation? When Trump supporters want to rejoin the country we should welcome them back with open arms. Until they make that decision, a Trump supporter is less than a real American. They don't love their country like real Americans. They can't be accepted as real Americans.

Only in the mind of the MAGA hat crowd could a decorated war veteran, devoted public servant, and life-long Republican be called a Trump destroying tool of the Democratic Party.

Mueller found an entire conspiracy, he just didn't connect the Trump campaign to the planning or executing the plan. It's in Mueller's transcript.

My first inclination was to try and actually deal with your post in a serious manner. But I quickly realized that it would be a massive waste of my time. Sometimes you just have to accept that some people are much happier living in their own version of reality.

Don't play childish games. You're not fooling anyone. You asked me what they did to help, and I answered you. Your slippery weasel words designed to move the bar up and down at your leisure are of no interest to me.

He fired the FBI director, remember?

Asked and answered already. I suggest you read the Mueller report.

Let me give an example of what I am asking for. What false belief did Americans have that was due to a Russian disinformation campaign?

This is an example of a disinformation campaign from US intelligence and the US media

In a Knight Ridder poll, 44 percent of Americans reported that either “most” or “some” of the Sept. 11 hijackers were Iraqi citizens. The answer is zero.”
CS Monitor, March 14, 2003

So almost half of all Americans believed that some or most of the 9/11 hijackers were Iraqis. This is false.

Now, I want an example of a false belief that Americans had due to a Russian disinformation campaign. For almost 3 years we've been hearing about how Russia attacked our democracy, how Russia influences our elections etc. I'm sure all these statements weren't just Deep State propaganda phrases put out by western media to fool weak minded individuals, right???

So let's have some specific examples and data.

Why wouldn't the other senators change the filibuster in this scenario? I think you would still need to say 51.

My point was that since it requires 67 votes in the Senate to convict a president during an impeachment proceeding, the president does not have to worry about being removed from office as long as they can count on at least 34 senators voting against conviction. (And if a president cannot be indicted, then there could be no legal consequence for any action for the duration of their term in office.)

Duh

I'm dumb
