This is a joke. Real presidents with actual, functioning administrations have a hard time getting immigration reform signed into law. That's why it happens so infrequently. What chance does a fake president with nothing to offer and staff made up of morons and empty desks have?

How's this "national emergency" going? Has the USA been overrun with socialist Muslim terrorists from Mexico yet? Has Trump actually built any new wall, as opposed to already-paid-for-by-Obama repairs?

The Coyotes and Drug Cartels are in total control of the Mexico side of the Southern Border. They have labs nearby where they make drugs to sell into the U.S. Mexico, one of the most dangerous country’s in the world, must eradicate this problem now. Also, stop the MARCH to U.S.

If the Democrats don’t give us the votes to change our weak, ineffective and dangerous Immigration Laws, we must fight hard for these votes in the 2020 Election!

In his Wisconsin Speech (I think Chris Cillizza ran out of column inches and couldn't cover all the woppers and insanity) he took personal credit for the deplorable-approved policy that doesn't exist.... moving immigrants to Sanctuary Cities. As Mueller showed us, his bureau heads and lackeys, when not facing a microphone in the Rose Garden, simply ignore his requests.

There is no such policy. DHS/ICE have not implemented it. Believe me, we'd be seeing footage of the caravan of busses arriving in San Francisco if there was. But playing to his demented base, he bragged that it was his own "sick idea". (Which assures us that it wasn't, of course.)

He's left the subject of the sentence out. "...most dangerous country's... what??" Football team? Parrot? Mariachi band?

Also, he seems to know quite a lot about this sort of drug-running operation. Perhaps...too much?

The military is not alone in burdensome authentication protocols.

I imagine situations have repeatedly occurred where a staffer has informed an appointee that an order arrived from the White House and in trying to tiptoe around suggesting the President has violated federal statutes, they can "only legally refer to the contents as a garbled message fragment or unclear instruction and to elaborate further would compromise a procedural investigation."

Oh so this isn't really a National Emergency that would involve the Army or even perhaps FEMA. It's actually a "national emergency" (lower case) where Trump needs to help redneck vigilantes raise a little beer money by extorting immigrants. Just like he did with his undocumented gardeners by underpaying them.

Steve Bannon was interviewed on PBS tonight bragging about how clever calling a national emergency was and how it gave Trump all sorts of power to legislate without Congress. Bannon was absolutely gleeful.

This is the ultimate in work across the aisle issues and Trump can't. Either he alienates his own party by talking to Democrats only or he he talks only to Republicans. He doesn't have the coat tails to protect friendly republicans nor can he claim support from Dems investigating him. Trump is really alone on the immigration issue.
