This is really terrible. From page 234 of the report:

Under oath, Sanders is forced to admit she is nothing more than a propagandist as well as a liar. Nice job Sarah.

I know some reporter is going to ask Sanders at some news conference:

A reporter tells the White House spokesperson, "the majority of FBI agents support James Comey" and she reacts in the "heat" of the moment? It bothered her that much that she reacted viscerally? She now stands revealed as what so many felt about her all along. She's nothing more than a shill. And for a man like Donald Trump?

I don't know how some of these people live with themselves. I really don't.

McCabe explained the Trump Code pretty well: He tells you the version of reality he wishes to be true, and then expects you to make it your reality if you don't want to incur his wrath. People who have attached themselves to Trump's ass because of what they expect to get out of it for themselves go along, so people like Sanders and Barr read their scripts on Trump's reality TV show. For exactly the same reason, the Party of Trump likewise ignores the stench of their besieged leader's ass and defends him by pretending to believe it.

100% of the Party of Trump is deplorable, but the only thing we can do about it is to outnumber them at the polls.

Sanders is still spinning it like the shill she is.
On Friday, Sanders maintained on ABC News' Good Morning America that she hadn't lied to reporters, parsing her statement to say that it hinged on her use of the word, "countless." "Actually, if you look at what I said, I said the 'slip of the tongue' was in using the word 'countless,' but there were a number of FBI, both former and current, that agreed with the president's decision, and they've continued to speak out and say that and send notice to the White House of that agreement with the president's decision," Sanders said. USA Today link

Okay so it was "a number of FBI agents," not "countless." So why didn't Sanders explain all this to the Mueller investigators? I think we all know why. Because she was under oath.

I appreciate that but you didn't post the actual passage from the report.

The Tweet only said that "Sanders acknowledged to investigators that her comments were not founded on anything." I'm American. I'm living through this nightmare. I think it's important to see the words within the message. The full passage. People need to know. Without having to click on a link to a Twitter account. Plus there are many visitors to these pages. They're probably skimming through and they need to see the words. I'm very serious about this. People need to know how terrible these people are.

I wasn't criticising you. I was bolstering your post by pointing to the direct evidence that she had also lied to Mueller.

Yep. Git there firstest with the mostest votes.

Just like the first civil war. But this time, I hope the people have the common decency and common sense to fight this one at the polls.

Hopefully using real facts as ammo.

This is what can happen when you're on the stand.
  • Sanders: I misspoke. It was a number of agents not countless.
  • Prosecutor: Miss Sanders you just said, 'not based on anything' a few moments ago. You're confusing me, ma'am. Was it a "countless" number of agents, was it a mere "number of agents" or was it "not based on anything." You've given three conflicting answers. Which is the truth?

Sanders knew that and she was careful not to cross the line (as she is doing on news interviews right now).
“That’s not a slip of the tongue, Sarah,” ABC’s George Stephanopoulos said after playing the clip of the press secretary in May 2017 making the false claim to White House reporters. “That’s a deliberate false statement.”

“Actually, if you look at what I’ve said, I said the ‘slip of the tongue’ was in using the word countless,” Sanders responded. “But there were a number of FBI, both former and current, that agreed with the president’s decision. And they’ve continued to speak out and say that.”

Stephanopoulos then called Sanders out for admitting to lying while under the threat of criminal penalties but failing to do so otherwise.

“It was the heat of the moment, meaning that it wasn’t a scripted talking point,” Sanders shot back. “I’m sorry that I wasn’t a robot like the Democratic Party..." Link

Apology NOT accepted, Sarah. Very sorry, really am. ;)

Is there a list of things trump directed to happen that wasn't carried out? I have seen a few, but not consolidated.

It's a nightmare to know for a fact that the President tells people to break the law for him - repeatedly.
It's potentially a worse nightmare to know that no one carries out the President's orders unless their is something in it for them m

Let's not forget that zero is a number, too.

Because their actions are a betrayal of their country, but not their party, and that's what really matters.

The founders of the country warned against the dangers of political parties. We're seeing that now, most definitely. I don't have chapter and verse to quote the founders, maybe someone does.

Trump Tweets

Statements are made about me by certain people in the Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue. Watch out for people that take so-called “notes,” when the notes never existed until needed. Because I never.....

...agreed to testify, it was not necessary for me to respond to statements made in the “Report” about me, some of which are total ******** & only given to make the other person look good (or me to look bad). This was an Illegally Started Hoax that never should have happened, a...

That second one was posted over six hours ago (Twitter time/real time) and still hasn't been concluded yet. I have a picture of the last word actually being "ACK!" and Trump suddenly clutching his chest.

Sanders sold her soul for a job which seems to be a requirement for being Trump's press spokesperson.

Trump fired Comey to take the heat off the investigation, by his own admission.

Trump tried to fire Mueller, and the only reason it didn't happen is because McGahn refused.

Trump tried to get Sessions to un-recuse, and the only reason it didn't happen is because Sessions refused.

Trump refused to be interviewed. And he limited the questions he was willing to answer in writing.

Trump dictated a BS explanation for the infamous meeting with Russian operatives.

Trump may have instructed staff to lie on his behalf, but at the very least he said nothing when they did lie.

Trump installed sycophants as AG who had lobbied for the job, on the record calling the investigation bogus.

Trump waged a vitriolic PR campaign impugning the integrity of Mueller, the FBI, and Justice.

Other than that, he was perfectly cooperative.

Don't forget that in that interview, he resorted to the "I don't recall" BS 36 times. And this from the man who claimed he has "one of the greatest memories of all time".
