Let's be honest about one thing.

None of the news pundits(on either the left or right) who are gonna be talking non stop about this for the next couple of days are gonna read any part of the actual report.

Surely, Barr knows that one can be guilty of obstruction of justice even if there was no prosecutable crime found. If Trump attempted to obstruct the investigation just because he feared what they might find, that's still obstruction, even if he didn't know specifically of anything they might find.

Looks to me like Mueller thinks he's guilty of obstruction.

Mueller states that had his team concluded that the president had committed no crime, they would have said so. Instead, Mueller writes:

Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgment.

There’s more trouble for Trump in the next sentence. Mueller alludes to having found “evidence about the president’s actions and intent” that “prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred”. Mueller adds:

“Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

Maddow will definitely read every unredacted word.

The only person I would guarantee will not actually read the report is Trump himself.

Seth Abramson (who is staring from the beginning instead of skipping around) has gotten to a part of the conspiracy section where Mueller lists all the ways his office was obstructed in its investigation.

[ETA] including outright destruction of evidence.

I disagree. An accurate summary wouldn't lack nuance. If trump were honest, his statements would have reflected their interest in Russian assistance even if it didn't materialize.

There were very interested, it appears.
