@newyorkguy: I've always seen the indictment of the "GRU agents" as kind of a joke, not only because the main conspirator is named Potemkin. It just reads like a completely made up story. How do they know which agent did what under which moniker, f.e.? Do they really want us to believe Russian military intelligence doesn't know the basics of how to obfuscate their identity on the internet? I would be really interested in seeing their evidence, but of course no trial will ever happen as that dozen of Russians will never enter US soil in their remaining life time.

Of course you do. Every single post I've read from you about Putin and Russia has been blatant denial and dismissal apologetics. Any criticism of this disgusting and immoral thug is swept aside with little or no consideration. Imprison political opponents, your answer was they deserved it.

LOL, what? You insinuated in passive-aggresive way that he imprisoned his major political opposition, and I responded playing along that he didn't. As his major political opposition are the communists led by Zyuganov who participated in the election and finished as Putin's major opponent on place two.

How on Earth are you framing that into me claiming that Putin's political opponents deserve to be imprisoned? Come on, explain yourself.

You're right. Nevertheless in the thread, you were dismissive of Putin imprisoning his political enemies as if it was ok. You simply don't care that Putin does these things with impunity. I bet you also believe Putin didn't have Boris Nemtsov killed either.

I hate to break it to you - wait, that's the pathetic passive-aggressive way people very unsure of their convictions and very anxious about information challenging them would start a sentence. It's always good to keep the high road.

You just displayed a very poor performance here taking some stuff you wrongly stored in your brain to the outside and failed miserably to back it up. Maybe this is the right time to reflect a bit and ask yourself if you are on the right path. Am I really someone who applauds "murderous thugs" locking up their political opponents? Or am I someone who doesn't buy what you have been sold about "Putin's Russia", maybe based on a much more sophisticated knowledge base?

Anyway, before your impertinent claims about my positions I had posted something to @newyorkguy who is very on topic and manages to make the best arguments against my cult mockery based on available evidence. I suggest you keep quiet and wait what he says (and he could rightfully claim that my dismissal of that indictment is just intuitive).

Tesla, as much as I disagree with CE normally, she didn't say they deserved it. Not in the quoted post, at least. In fact she denied that Putin did that.

If not an apology, at least a retraction.

I first want to preface the following with this caveat. In no way do I believe that Putin isn't a murderous thug.

Nevertheless I was wrong to put words in CE's mouth. For that I apologize and ask the forgiveness of the thread. That was wrong.
