I didn't know about it -- or had forgotten -- but it seems like something that would be pretty routine (the FBI briefing candidates about possible attempts by Russia to infiltrate their campaigns) and it was reported by NBC News in December 2017:
In the weeks after he became the Republican nominee on July 19, 2016, Donald Trump was warned that foreign adversaries, including Russia, would probably try to spy on and infiltrate his campaign, according to multiple government officials familiar with the matter. The warning came in the form of a high-level counterintelligence briefing by senior FBI officials, the officials said. A similar briefing was given to Hillary Clinton, they added. They said the briefings, which are commonly provided to presidential nominees, were designed to educate the candidates and their top aides about potential threats from foreign spies.

The candidates were urged to alert the FBI about any suspicious overtures to their campaigns, the officials said. Link

Yes, there does seem to be some hoaxing going on and I think we all know who the Hoaxster-in-Chief is. ;)

Sad!

Worth noting that both the Trump and Clinton campaigns were briefed by the FBI that the Russians were trying to infiltrate their campaigns and that they should notify the FBI of any attempts at contact.

IIRC, the Trump team got that briefing a couple weeks after the Trump Tower meeting, but that would have been an excellent time to report it. Instead, they kept it secret and then repeatedly lied about it when it was exposed. Collusion delusion, my ass.

ah, but they couldn't possibly trust the FBI or CIA!
The GRU told them so!

Could you post a link for that? I think I've heard it before but not sure where.

Trump Tweets

The Democrats will never be satisfied, no matter what they get, how much they get, or how many pages they get. It will never end, but that’s the way life goes!

From the link;

Giuliani also dismissed claims by members of Mueller’s team that Barr’s four-page summary of Mueller’s findings misrepresented the results of the probe, saying that if the report contained damaging information, Mueller’s team would have provided specific details.

I don't understand what this means. They were provided the report. If it contains specific details then they already have them.

What kind of gibberish is this?
It's Giuliani-style high-quality lawyer-ish gibberish; the best Trump's ill-gotten gains can buy!

What, you wanted truth and logic? That's extra, my friend!!

Considering that the investigation more than paid for itself AND uncovered several crimes and criminals, I would agree that it was well spent.

I've been away from civilization for over a week and haven't had any updates. Is McConnell still blocking the release of the Mueller report?

So Barr was questioned by Congress. (He was there to talk primarily about budgeting issues, but the Democrats brought up the Mueller report.

From: https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/u-s-ag-barr-to-release-mueller-report-within-a-week-1.4372062
U.S. Attorney General William Barr said Tuesday that he expects to release a redacted version of the special counsel's Trump-Russia investigation report "within a week" as he defended his handling of the document.
...
Democrats scolded Barr over his handling of the report, telling him they were concerned that a summary of its main conclusions he released last month portrayed the investigation's findings in an overly favourable way for President Donald Trump.
...
He said he had offered Mueller the chance to review his four-page letter, but that Mueller declined. Asked about reports that members of Mueller's team were unhappy with his handling of the report, Barr said he suspected any discontent may have reflected their desire to put out more information.
...
He is likely to be asked to further explain himself at a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing Wednesday that is also on the budget. Barr is to testify on the report itself at separate hearings before the Senate and House Judiciary committees on May 1 and May 2

No, that's not it at all. There never was a Mueller report. In fact who's the Mueller guy? Never heard of him. 2+2=5 and we have always been at war with Eurasia.

It's been blocked 5 times, twice by McConnell. Links upthread.

I went back through two pages and did not see any links.

However, I did notice this in Segnosaur's post:

How can McConnell block it twice, and somebody else block it three times if Barr himself hasn't tried to release it yet?

Republicans blocked request for an unredacted Report.
Barr is planing to release a redacted one.
