Brilliant, and so much truth.
Even those morons who see this will still fail to understand what it means.
What makes it hypocritical?
Have you considered the possibility that they actually do understand what it means but simply don't agree that it's accurate?
I really don't understand the prevalence of the idea that the other side is just stupid. They are humans, just like you. The reasons that people hold the beliefs they do are complex, but, in general, it's not because they are stupid.
The fact that many left wing org's are run by billionaires and millionaires
It is kind of a silly argument all round.
Do you not think think there are "elite" democrats?
As that would be a bit silly.
I actually bothered to watch the video then.
Apart from Tucker being a twit, I fail to see where the other idiot comes off much better.
And when was the word "moron" * needed?

Yes, obviously!
Why?
Who is "the other idiot"? Bill O'Reilly?
I didn't use the word. I didn't even think it.
Not stupid. Just impacted by bucketloads of what amounts to propoganda. Either that sort of stuff works or the combined advertising budget of every agency in the USA is a waste of money.
that wasn’t the subject I was addressing. Can you explain the alleged intelligent thinking behind the decision to wear a MAGA hat and hate the minorities mentioned in pgwenthold's post?
not being human doesn’t equate to being alien. But anyway, my point was simply that humans of all stiles share the same basic attributes, intelligence being one. Which it does fall across a bell curve I’m not aware of any correlation between stupidity and voting patterns.By the way, I don't think that smart cooky denied that they were humans. What makes you think that he would consider them to be aliens?
I was objecting to his statement that poor or working class people who vote republican are morons. I don’t think I’m confused about what he said.I think that you confuse stupid with inability to think: It does require the ability to think to reach the conclusion - or just accept the idea - that foreigners, minorities, women, socialists, gays and liberals ruin your life. When doing so, your ability to think actually makes you more stupid in the process.

I was objecting to him calling them morons, not the idea that they are wrong. As you say it’s entirely possible to be wrong without being a moron.
False consciousness (noun) When working-class people are tricked into accepting their exploitation.

Tucker Carlson: ”One thing you’ll learn when you grow up in a castle and look out across the moat every day at the hungry peasants out in the village is you don’t want to stoke envy among the proletariat.”
(…)
Fox News’ MO is using culture war stories to distract from right-wing economics.
(…)
Convince workers to focus their rage at targets that don’t matter. "Racist trees." And they’ll be too distracted to notice the ones that do.
(…)
The goal of Tucker’s show isn’t to challenge the elite. It’s to make sure you never realize who they are.
(…)
Tucker Carlson (about Bill O’Reilly): “I think there’s kind of a deep phoniness at the center of his shtick because it’s sort of built on this perception that he is the character he plays. He is everyman, he’s not right wing, he’s a populist fighting for you against the powers that be. And that’s great as a shtick. But I’m just saying that the moment that it’s revealed not be true, it’s over. Right? Because the whole thing is predicated on the fact that he is who he says he is, and nobody is that person. Especially not someone who makes a million dollars or many millions a year.”
Why Tucker Carlson pretends to hate elites (Youtube/Vox, April 3, 2019)
There was a fair bit of exaggeration in there. If you can get trolled by the truth, you should reexamine, your life.
Did anybody pretend that other channels don't have millionaire hosts?
Nobody has criticized Tucker Carlson for being a multimillionaire. He's criticized for pretending to be an anti-elitist and making his viewers so mad at atheists, feminists, immigrants, millennials, trans people, college students, pot smokers, vegans, the NFL, Brooklyn witches, and Lena ******* Dunham that they don’t get mad at the people who are actually in charge.
Do you see the difference?
