Weaponize?
If every major party nominee for 40 years has released theirs. And if President Trump’s returns Are above board and legal, how can his returns be weaponized?

Because there is no possible basis that the frauds in the House need them other than to harass the Executive.

Gee trigger a constitutional crisis because orange man bad.

Now, now! We have to work at not being so partisan. Trump is very open about many things.

Don't we have 100% of his military records? He's not required to do that, but out of respect for the American Public's Right to Know, we've seen every single page of his military records.

J-Stor also has every word he's ever written in dissertations.

Silly me! And those records revealed that he was the bigliest decorated for bravery combat hero of all time surpassing even Audie Murphy! No wonder he knows more than our generals.

He probably doesn't want his school and tax records released because he's so modest and doesn't want everyone to know that he graduated with the highest GPA in the history of Wharton and is the richest man EVER in the world. He's also concerned the Mueller Report might embarrass the witch hunting Dems and FBI by exposing how corrupt and unfair they were to him. You know how sensitive he is to the feelings of others.

Harass him about what -- tax evasion? Money laundering? Just his everyday lying? Whatever it is, orange man bad really doesn't want us to know, huh. Why should Trump provoke a constitutional crisis by not only defying the law but refusing to simply do what he promised to do, multiple times? Could it be because orange man bad? Inquiring minds want to know, and the 42% who don't give a **** are becoming less relevant every day.

Defying the law? Utterly absurd, the law is on Trump’s side.

Harass him about anything and everything they think they can find on their partisan fishing expedition for no legal purpose.

Although, “if he was innocent, he’s got nothing to hide” exception to privacy concerns is absolutely the bottom of the barrel.

And he never promised to release his tax returns, that is another fib from the lying left.

Remember when the leftists claimed that conservatives could not do comedy?

Now they are in complete pants wetting mode because Our President retweeted a hilarious video of Biden rubbing Biden's shoulders.

Won, the meme wars are...

Most revealing to us your admittance in placing so much stock in internet memes. Meme wars; a very fine representation of American intellectual rigor for the world to behold.

Trumpism is starting to look like a delusion collusion.

He never "promised" to release his tax returns only in the sense that he didn't stand before a magistrate, with hand on Bible and swear, "I solemnly promise to release my tax returns."

But in a sufficiently meaningful way, on multiple occasions he said he would, but that he couldn't because they were under audit. Donald Trump; single-handidly keeping a cabal of auditors permently employed, he would have the rubes believe.

And yet somehow Obama managed to release his tax returns every April 15th while being president despite being under audit. If there was a cabal of auditors permanently employed the US, could fund a national free college program or make sure diabetics can afford insulin.

NEW: Pres. Trump says he will hold a rally at an undetermined location rather than attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner, which he called "so boring and so negative."

"I like positive things, okay?"

Gee, and all it took was electing a clown to the presidency.

The law is not on his side,

From an article reproducing comments about the tax returns. I'd say that Trump definitely said that he would release the returns. If you want to quibble over whether it's a promise or not, I'm not interested. The fact is that at various times, he said he would release them and now he says he won't.

"If I decide to run for office, I'll produce my tax returns, absolutely," he said. "And I would love to do that."

January 26, 2016
"I have very big returns, as you know, and I have everything all approved and very beautiful and we'll be working that over in the next period of time, Chuck," Trump said. "Absolutely."

May 11, 2016
"I would release my tax returns when audit is complete, not after election!" he tweeted about the interview.

September 27, 2016
"I don't mind releasing. I'm under a routine audit, and it will be released. As soon as the audit's finished, it will be released," he said.

October 4, 2016
"Look, Donald Trump has filed over 100 pages of financial disclosure, which is what the law requires," Pence said. He added that trump is "going to release his tax returns when the audit is over."

NOTE: I've no idea whether he's still under audit. If you're suggesting that he genuinely will release the returns when the audit is done, do say so.

Looks at list, notices the complete absence of the word promise in any quote.

Gets accused of quibbling.

Keeping up with the lefts lies is exhausting...

I think that's Trumpspeak for "I can't handle being roasted because I'm a big baby so I'm not going to play."

I doubt he will be missed by the correspondents, except perhaps the ones from FOX.

That dinner strikes me as too chummy anyway. Trump's skipping it doesn't lower my opinion of him.

You should have plenty of time for that considering the time you save by ignoring all of the lies from Trump...such as the ones you just quoted. LOL!!!

Yeah, because if Trump "promised" he would definitely follow through.

Too bad Trump, nor his followers, understand the concept of "Let your yes mean yes, and your no, no."
