Congratulations to Brian Hagedorn on his big surprise win over a well funded Liberal Democrat in the Great State of Wisconsin for a very important Supreme Court seat. Republicans are producing big for Wisconsin!

Trump has never promised any such thing. Neither has the GOP. if you pay 20 000 a year for insurance, they were going to give you 4000-5000 back. Provided you bought the insurance. Their credit was never going to be for paying healthcare directly.

neither does he have a German father.

I'm just amused how a self-declared immigrant child who married an immigrant can be seen as the defender of the american way against immigrants.

And how do you justify making an exception for Trump specifically? What do you do once you have your justification? Change the law and put "except for Donald J. Trump" on it?

Can we not agree Trump is the exception? Need I make the list:

He didn't put any of his assets in a blind trust
He's making money when foreign governments rent rooms in his hotels
He has a history of tax fraud
He has a long history of being a con

I'm sure there's more.

There are 2 employees charged with auditing the President and VPs. Ethics are part of the review process when dealing with federal employee returns.
I believe you tentatively, but how do you know this?

If he can bring a corruption case, he can't be a whistleblower. They are mutually exclusive. He would be violating the laws to make the information public when he had a legal responsibility not to.

Of course you don't. But when you put forward the idea that rights don't apply to your political enemies, you are expressing ideas that are corrupt at the core.
More false equivalence claiming all this is only because Trump is a political enemy. You really need to put his koolaid down.

Yet these people, who had previously understood that they needed smarter people than them running their country as well as doing science medicine and tech, apparently decided in 2016 that no, what they really wanted was someone just as stupid and ignorant as them in charge.
I don't think they were expecting him to win.

They want stem-cell research when it comes to their own afflictions.

You're completely missing the point. You're proposing to make an exception here, and what's stopping a slew of ever laxer rules about what constitutes an exception? And what judge would say "well, you broke the law, but Trump's an exception"?

Seriously, why is it so hard to understand?

Whistle blowing breaks the law because of exceptions. That's the nature of it and the nature of the Whistle Blowers legislation.

From Wiki:
The Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989, 5 U.S.C. 2302(b)(8)-(9), Pub.L. 101-12 as amended, is a United States federal law that protects federal whistleblowers who work for the government and report the possible existence of an activity constituting a violation of law, rules, or regulations, or mismanagement, gross waste of funds, abuse of authority or a substantial and specific danger to public health and safety. A federal agency violates the Whistleblower Protection Act if agency authorities take (or threaten to take) retaliatory personnel action against any employee or applicant because of disclosure of information by that employee or applicant.[1]

federal whistleblowers - check

and report the possible existence of an activity constituting a violation of law, rules, or regulations, - check

I don't know where the line crosses between confidentiality protection and breaking the law. Given Trump is in charge, it's not like you can go to your boss and say Trump's breaking the law here.

What options are left? Go to Congress? If you work for the IRS then maybe. If you are Congress then what?

Just a thought.

Had you considered that anyone interested in what the orange toad is Tweeting will probably check? I find it well beyond tedious that you feel a need to quote them constantly.

Others here have said just the opposite. They appreciate Captain_Swoop doing the legwork so they don't have to.

I mean you're just pulverizing the decaying bones of the poor thing at this point.
