"But members of Mueller’s team have complained to close associates"

so it seems the leaks come not from members of the team, but from their "associates", those that they complained to.

That will always be the case unless they come to your house and tell you personally.

To clarify it means the leakers have not spoken to the press but rather to others, who have in turn spoken to the press. This, necessarily, opens up the possibility of mischaracterization of their position.

Turnabout is fair play and ditto. I will address your post when the investigation is complete about the origin orange of the dossier that gave Mueller his start.

FTFY.

What are you babbling about now? The truth value of what I said has nothing to do with the Mueller report. We know these facts independantly.

So either you address it now, or you're full of it.

Perhaps the Democratic candidates should take a leaf out of Trump's book

"DoJ employees, if you're listening, we hope you will leak the Mueller Report to Congress, and if you do, we publicly guarantee that if you are indicted and charged, we'll pardon you"

That would be a good 'joke' for them to make.

Have you been told yet how Steele is responsible for the Trump Tower meeting, and for Papadopoulos's conversation with Downer? What's the word on that from inside the ashram?

I don't necessarily see the need for the public to see the entire report, just Congress. Having a redacted release would be fine for me (although I'd like to see it all, up front). If Congress gets to see the entire thing, it's all going to be leaked anyway.

... and how Steele is responsible for Manafort sharing polling data with the Russians?

... and how Steele is responsible for the attempt to set up a secret back channel to the Kremlin using a Russian diplomatic server; a back channel that US intelligence services would not have known about?

... and how Steele is responsible for the fact that Trump Jr did not call the FBI when he was approached by foreign intelligence services?

... and how Steele is responsible for Trump calling on the Russians to hack the DNC servers to look for Hilary's emails?

... and how Steele is responsible for the Russians actually attempting to hack the DNC servers --- on the same day!!

... and how Steele is responsible for Flynn conferring with the Russian ambassador about removing US sanctions --- and then lying to the FBI about it?

... and how Steele is responsible for Trump trying to negotiate a multi-million dollar real estate deal in Moscow --- and then lying to the American people about it?

I would dearly love our resident Bigfooter to explain how Christopher Steele is responsible for all of the above!

Trump Tweets

According to polling, few people seem to care about the Russian Collusion Hoax, but some Democrats are fighting hard to keep the Witch Hunt alive. They should focus on legislation or, even better, an investigation of how the ridiculous Collusion Delusion got started - so illegal!

It doesn't really if the inciting incident turned out to be a dud. So much real corruption was discovered in the process.

It's like if a cop hears a scream coming from an apartment and kicks in the door. Turns out the scream was just a really loud movie playing in the background. How embarrassing for the police except...

Upon entering the apartment they discover a meth lab, 4 dead bodies, a bunch of pipe bombs, a known terrorist, and a child pornography studio. No one is going to care about the misunderstood scream when it comes to going after all those other crimes. From this treasure trove of evidence comes a long, thorough investigation that results in dozens of people being implicated in crimes, many of which were not even present in the apartment during the initial search.

Pointing a finger and shrieking about one piece of bad evidence is a move of desperation in the light of all the other extremely damning, verified evidence.

As shown on this forum, a lot of people probably would care.

But - but - but - what if the police had visited the apartment next door a few weeks ago looking for evidence of some other crime and didn't find any? Why aren't the police locking them up instead of sneaking around listening for TV screams, huh? And what are the oranges of this "sneak around and listen for TV screams" approach, anyway?

And this is politics, you can't just not care about what other people care about.

You can argue that X Factor about Candidate Y should not matter, you can be 100% correct about, I can agree you are 100% correct about it, but if it does matter to enough voters we have to at least be aware of it and factor it in.

Nobody is stupid here. We all know that candidates can just be... tainted. Sometimes by stuff they did that matters, something by stuff the didn't do that doesn't matter, and every spot in between.

Trump/Russia conspiracists are like zombies: the dream can't die. Their new hope is a) anonymously sourced, b) bereft of even one specific, c) irrelevant to *conspiracy* as opposed to obstruction & d) unrelated to the fact that Mueller indicted *zero* Americans for conspiracy:

NYTimes is gonna grift

...
I say 'such as it is', because I haven't seen any information specifically referring to the investigation being leaked, only apparent dissatisfaction that the report hasn't been treated the way it was expected to have been.
There was information that summaries ready for release were in the report as well as the introductory paragraphs of different segments.

The AG claims there was Grand Jury testimony in those summaries. I can't imagine why that would be in a summary or introductory paragraph. It seems more likely that's Barr making up excuses.
