AG Barr: With assistance from the Special Counsel Mueller on redactions for a version of the Mueller report to be released, progress is such that I anticipate we will be in position to release the redacted report "by mid-April, if not sooner."
AG Barr: President Trump would have right to assert privilege on "certain parts of the report," but based on his public statements, there are no plans to submit the report to the White House for privilege review.
In response to AG Barr's letter, House Judiciary Chairman Nadler says that "Congress requires the full and complete Mueller report, without redactions" by April 2, that "that deadline still stands," and he believes "it is critical" AG Barr testify before Congress immediately.
NEW: “I look forward to hearing from Attorney General Barr on May 1st,” Senate Judiciary Cmte. Chairman Graham says after Barr indicated in a letter today that he is available to testify to the cmte. on that date.
