I notice the Trump administration is remaining quiet about those Russian Troops landing in Venezuela....

Hell no. He's due for a bonus for not getting caught with his boss' hand in the till, so he's not going to upset him now.

It's made surprisingly little news anywhere, which surprised me a bit.

Well part of me thinks he just doesn't want to feed the Russia-helped-Trump crowd. It's probably conditioned him to not say anything against Putin.

They've held military exercises together before, so I'm not too surprised.

The bookies have seen this one and have slashed the odds on President Trump winning re-election in 2020. Paddy Power cut the odds from $3-00 to $2-60 after the Mueller release.

Hail Emperor Trump! (Surely, if FDR can have 4 elections, His Exalted Orange Majesty can have three? Queen Ivanka can take over after that.)

On predictit.org, "yes" shares on Trump winning in 2020 rose $0.02 since Friday, $0.37 to $0.39. ("No" was also down $0.02, so I bought some more.)

And buy those weapons using money by clandestinely selling all the contraband drugs seized from illegals on the Mexican border. It's a foolproof scheme, Colonel North! Why not call it "Iran Contra"...

Are you living in the 1980s? There's not enough drugs seized at that border to pay for anything. Trump can just pay for the weapons personally from his cut of the money he's laundering for the Russians.

Document embedded in tweet. The TL/DR version is that it's a list of democrats, mostly politicians from the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, that they feel should no longer be allowed to appear on TV.

Nothing wrong with the re-election campaign of the President of the United States sending out letters trying to intimidate public media outlets from interviewing elected Federal officials.

Nope. Nothing at all.

From the memo.
“Does this guest warrant further appearances in our programming, given the outrageous and unsupported claims made in the past?

At a minimum, if these guests do reappear, you should replay the prior statements and challenge them to provide the evidence which promoted them to make wild claims in the first place,"

Sure. Why not?
Provided the exact same standard be applied to President Trump and every one of his apologists, advocators, and justifiers.

One standard for everyone.

ETA
and the memo-writers sure as hell are publicizing this for show and most certainly do not want the TV stations to actually do this because that means every Trump critic will have free air time to say “Thank you for asking, I’d love to talk about all the evidence that led me to that conclusion. Let’s start by talking about how often Trump officials lied about their Russian contacts.”

Impeachment was ALWAYS a political step - Mueller having Trump arrested was as likely as him arresting Clinton.
And it was always clear that the real battle would be to the Mueller probe material available to Congress, so it can make the political decision on whether Trump committed high crimes and misdemeanors.
And if it comes down to a coin toss on whether a President has committed criminal levels of Obstruction, you can bet your butt it's at least serious misdemeanors.

Pretty much the only reason why Trump did not violate security laws is because as president, he has the authority to (for example) unclassify documents.

If he didn't formally declassify top secret documents before handing them over to hostile powers even the inane argument "sure he endangered US security, but it wasn't technically illegal!" is wrong.
