It's only vague to you because you've repeatedly ignored all the evidence that is in the public sphere, and because we don't really have Mueller's report.

There is the Emoluments lawsuit, Trump's corruption is out in the open.

And the ballooning deficit is the result of Trump giving himself enormous tax breaks, especially eliminating the inheritance tax which allows the Trumps to get out of all the capital gains taxes accrued up to that point.

And you know, if you think Trump's constant vacations on the public dime isn't a crime, I don't believe for a minute you wouldn't have called that a crime during the Obama administration. In fact IIRC, an awful lot of Republicans screamed bloody murder when Michelle Obama took trips with her daughters.
 
Please urge Democrat Representatives to impeach Trump. Demand they investigate until they find something, no matter the consequences. Demand that they subpoena Mueller and grill him until he breaks. Let the subpoenas number in the thousands. Don't let Trump get away with this collusion. He's making fools of you and laughing about it on National television.

I expect that there are a significant number of Republicans who are disappointed that there will be no impeachment. The chances of getting actual hard right policies enshrined into law would have been much better with Pence. You have only 18 months till the next election and Trump has just bumbled from controversy to controversy without really accomplishing anything that the right wing politicians would be happy with.

Excepting the judicial appointments. He's made the Federal judicial system veer hard-right, tea party Right.

For all practical purposes, they are. They will only be impeached if democrats can get the house, the senate and the oval office. Even then, they have to overstep their authority more than just making decisions that go against legal precedent.
 
Even if the report says what the Trump whore Bar says it does, there will still be plenty of out of context quotes to mine that could damage Trump in a well organized social media smear campaign. Democrats need a Swiftboat Veterans for truth type organization to use the report to slander the president.

It's over. There will be no subpoena. There will be no impeachment. We've been lied to.
 
The intolerant Left and their derangement syndrome. Robert Mueller, the Democrats' spiritual leader, said there was reasonable doubt, but they'd probably want Trump removed if there were only a 40% chance the president was a Russian asset. Hell, the Gestapo Deep State would want him booted it were a measly 30%.
 
This could get ugly for the "impeach!" people in regards to the whole Russian interference + collusion narrative.

Plenty of legitimate targets on Trump's back.
 
Oh yeah, I forgot a couple crimes: diverting both the Trump Charity and the Trump Inaugural non-profit money for personal use.

I'm not sure why this would even matter. Putin knows he can't take Trump at his word - Trump doesn't have the power Putin has, plus Trump is demonstrably inconsistent.

I agree there should be a record; it bothers me that there isn't one, but I'm not necessarily alarmed by it. Concerned, that's fair.

Anyway Russia probably kept a record as one would expect from any competent bureaucracy. Would I agree with their spin? Probably not. But in terms of straight-up record-keeping, Russia probably has the bases covered.

ETA: I wouldn't think Putin's account of events would be considered reliable, either. He could just lie about what was said, if it suited his purposes. Who would contradict him?

I would consider a 20% chance an unacceptable risk.

Take that risk 3 times, and the odds are nearly even that you find yourself with a Russian asset up your ass at least once. (no sexual inuendo intended)

Get a Russian asset up your ass at least once, and you'll soon learn that's one time too many. Like Russian roulette.

Overstatement, I agree. But as far as Russia and other actors working to sow discord - that I find quite believable. I think it would be very naive to assume otherwise.

I doubt the non-U.S. powers that be actively hope for civil war; that would be too disruptive for their purposes. But undermining confidence in democracy, at a time when dictators and wannabees appear to be consolidating their power in numerous populous countries? That could suit their domestic purposes very well.
