While it is irrelevant to this thread, the Bain murders could just have easily been committed with a bolt action rifle.
 
I'm humming and harring whether to post what Whitcoulls bookstores have done over the shootings, as it is so embarrassing.

Irrelevant since he went from room to room, killing them one-at-a-time, while they slept. But for the noise, he could have done that with a muzzle loaded duelling pistol! Or a knife.

Well I have come to the conclusion the stupidity, absurdity and humour side of things out weighs my own embarrassment of posting it.

Whitcoulls bookshops which is probably the biggest book store chain in NZ has decided they are banning Jordan Pertersons 12 Rules book from their shelves and online sales, over the Mosque shootings

Because he's a rabble-rousing, race-baiting, anti-feminist, transphobic bigot? And because he was photographed with the shooter, who was at the time wearing a shirt that said "proud Islamaphobe". Sure, his book might not be about that, but that doesn't make him not those things. I'd take his books off the shelves too.

I have to be honest, I had to Google Jordan Peterson because I had no idea who he was.... and my reaction was "meh, how underwhelming!

Jordan Peterson is seen by researchers as a common gateway to white supremacist ideology.

I wouldn't sell Mine Kampf either tho.

Well, MK is really a legit research publication. The only thing it would inspire in anyone is the need to sleep... it is boring (and I mean Boring) in the extreme and its prose is so disjointed that I doubt anyone who is not capable of joined-up writing (which applies to most white right nutcases) would probably be incapable of comprehending or deciphering what it says.

They - a private company - is chosing to remove a product that they feel is detriment to their brand. Good for them.

And Peterson's book is an over rated self help book with zero reference to race hate.

Which kind of makes the reason for one to be banned over a white supremacist mass killing about the Author.

So let's see

Peterson - A clinical psychologist and a professor of psychology with a career in psychology about 30 years

Hitler - One of the most racist and genocidal humans in modern history

Petersons book isn't banned. It's not sold in that chain of bookstores. I'm fairly certain there are loads of books that aren't sold there.
