Defying voters, the Governor of California will halt all death penalty executions of 737 stone cold killers. Friends and families of the always forgotten VICTIMS are not thrilled, and neither am I!

Will the Governor set these killers free or keep them in jail? If they are to stay in jail they are still being punished and the families of VICTIMS are not being forgotten.

I'm against the death penalty, but...

The action runs counter to the expressed will of California voters, who over the last six years rejected two statewide ballot measures to repeal the death penalty and favored fast-tracking the appeals process.

California legislature, once again, ignores the will of the voters.

We've executed 13 people since 1976, and zero since 2006. Not exactly a pressing issue, yet here is our new governor spending time and money on it.

What's really going on, Gavin? It's never as simple as "doing the right thing" when it comes to government. Ever.

Never mind that the CP5 were later exonerated. If Trump had his way, they'd be executed by now. Trump, true to his narcissistic need to never admit error, said after the CP5 exonerations

Mayor Koch has stated that hate and rancor should be removed from our hearts. I do not think so. I want to hate these muggers and murderers. They should be forced to suffer and, when they kill, they should be executed for their crimes.

Why would President Trump be concerned at all with those verses? He’s publicly said that he has not done anything that requires forgiveness.

I can understand the Christian Who look at him as a useful tool in helping them achieve their ends. The ones who think he is s Bible-reading fully-sanctified Christian I will never understand.
