Official - Michael Jackson was scum

I have looked over this thread, and a lot of people just don't get how powerful show biz celebs are in Southern California. They are quite literally above the law unless caught red handed. I give you OJ as an example.
How do you think Harvey Weinstein got away with if for so long.

Corey Feldman has always defended MJ, saying there was never any untoward activity between them (although he was molested by other Hollywood figures.)

I believe that may be true, as although MJ cared for him, he was likely not his "type". I'd be more interested to hear Macauley Culkin say the same, with such conviction.

Culkin's life seems troubled enough that I hope he can deal with whatever demons he has, without having to do it in public.

I'm always personally struck by the hordes of imbeciles who make knee-jerk reactions to situations like this based on an individual's status or wealth and don't even take a cursory look at the actual evidence.

I never realized celebrities made, and enforced, the laws. It seems to me that Weinstein got away with it because no one reported his behaviour. That hardly makes him "above the law."

Getting away with things because people don't report it for decades is not what "above the law" means.

Getting away with it because nobody dare report the abuse out of fear for their career puts you, in effect, '"above the law".

Small town and the chief of police is up to no good and you know it. Taking bribes, intimidating people for his own gain ... that kind of thing. Are you going to report him?

There were trials. Jackson got off two of them for technical reasons.
I thought there were just the two: The one with Jordy Chandler in the early 90's, which he settled out of court, and one in the mid 2000's, in which, according to the documentary anyway, he told Robson to lie about not having been molested.

I believe Jackson probably did this stuff, but what is the actual evidence?

Witness testimony doesn't do it for Bigfoot reports. Jackson, and his estate are worth quite a lot of money and it isn't out of the question that people would falsely claim things in order to get some of it.

I would think the case against him would be pretty rock solid at this point. Is there new evidence put forth in this documentary?

What evidence would you expect to see, that you haven't?
