Part of that comes down to the fact that journalists rarely have the understanding required to explain any medical, engineering, or scientific subject to the average reader - but at least there was nothing about the "failing" NYT, or how this will cause autism, or any such nonsense in Dolt 45's tweet.

And yes, Trump IS that stupid. He, or one of his communications flunkies more likely, saw the headline and assumed it was happening in the USA. Since we know Trump is not the only one using his tweet-phone, they are probably the ones who tweeted it. One of them is going without dinner tonight.

The evidence is fairly clear Trump doesn't bother reading the "failing NYT" or whatever he childishly calls it. He doesn't read much at all, really.
