It’s so bizarre.
I would not be surprised if he spilled soup on his tie and then accused the a Democrats of being at fault.

Plus, earlier today he described his walking out as a positive thing. Now it’s a negative thing caused by the Democrats. I think it is easier to understand how a cat can be alive and dead than it is to understand TrumpThink.

As far as I can tell, Cohen's appearance date was set long before Donny set up his Kim play date in Vietnam. If so, it puts a new spin on why Donny didn't give a crap about any result and walking out. The whole trip was a calculated excuse to make himself the "innocent absent victim" of the "witch hunt" boo hoo. At taxpayer expense of course.

Innocent absent victim? Pssh. It was meant to distract from and upstage it as he delivered a big win in diplomacy with NK. That would serve the dual purposes of downplaying his problems and playing up his successes. That the chances of it working were roughly nil just didn't register with Trump, I think.

In unpleasant news... Ohio Ruling Allows Teachers To Carry Concealed Guns With Only 7 Hours Training

Newsweek has a story this week about Ohio allowing teachers to carry concealed guns in school. The law only requires 7-8 hours of training with some of it done online. Police must complete 700+ hours of training. The reasoning by the judge is that educators aren’t classified as police and thus need not meet same qualifications.

One wonders then, if teachers aren’t classified as police, why are they legally allowed to carry deadly force and also decide when or if it’s necessary.

Are these teachers being trained in recognizing their own bias when confronted with various scenarios that could potentially lead them to shoot an innocent student?

He also seems to be saying that he doesn't know why he walked out. Might have been Cohen, might not... Might have been the lack of cheeseburgers, might have been his total inability to negotiate... Who knows? Not Trump, apparently...

As near as I could tell, the Cohen Congressional hearings pushed Trump's fanciful and ultimately pointless self-promotional jaunt to visit Dear Friend completely off the front page.
