With a Tweet like this it sounds like Trump is trying to forestall any Republican opposition to his border wall funding via his emergency declaration.

Oh well! I guess this Tweet shows that there is at least some token Republican opposition to Trump dictates.

It's really disgraceful that Trump would write something like that. Reid wasn't "thrown out." He served in the U.S. Senate for thirty years before retiring due to advancing age and a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

To have a U.S. president express himself in such crude and dishonest ways, and to do it on social media!, is very damaging to our country.

Of course, we all know that's a ridiculous claim. Trump would never try to kiss someone without consent. Instead he will grab them by the pussy. And she would never refuse, since they just let you do it.

If memory serves, weren't the Ceausescus also inordinately fond of gold in their decor? I vaguely recall accounts at the time of mentioning the (tasteless) lavishness of their living quarters serving to inflame the rage of the impoverished people. A gold dog dish is one thing I remember being mentioned.

Strictly speaking he in the same conversation talks about just walking up and kissing women as well as grabbing them, of course why is this an issue? He brags about it and the people love him for doing this.

President Trump retaliated on Twitter against Harry Reid after the former Senate leader said Trump makes former President George W. Bush look like the Babe Ruth of commanders-in-chief.

“There’s no question in my mind that George Bush would be Babe Ruth in this league that he’s in with Donald Trump in the league,” Reid said on “New Day.” “Donald Trump wouldn’t make the team.” Host Dana Bash asked him if Trump was doing anything right. “I just have trouble accepting him as a person and so frankly I don’t see anything he’s doing right,” he said. Yeah I know, it won't affect his base, who seem to have no problem with any sort of moral failings he may have.

To be honest, I'm not sure if I really have much sympathy for Johnson (assuming her claims are true). After all, she said this event happened in August 2016. By that time, Trump had been campaigning for over a year. By that time, people had a pretty good idea of what Trump was like: His racism was well publicised, his actions as a con-artist was well known (e.g. Trump University). Yet despite Trump's questionable ethics she decided to work on his campaign.
