If you don't think you are more evolved than a tapeworm , I accept your opinion.
Aside from your attempt at a childish insult do you have an answer to my question?

So the solders raping the 12 year old are just making a mistake. For the word evil, you could substitute ' misguided' . Doing evil is another way of describing mistakes made by undeveloped souls.
The cycle of spiritual evolution over many lives can go down, as well as up.
As soon as a spirit incarnates and makes an imperfect choice the laws of karma kick in, and this can lead a soul further away from the light.
In the past here we have gone through actual transcripts from mediums, often presented by believers, when you do go though them you find it is questions after questions, filling in on what the person has said and repeating back to the person what they've just told the medium. Not bad, right? I have zero training cold reading, I've never met you, and I just hit 66% accuracy.
Now imagine I'm speaking with you face to face and as soon as you say "no bell-bottoms" I repeat back to you something like "No, you're right they aren't bell-bottoms they're more like jeans or dungarees, or slacks, but with patches." I'm watching you for any kind of facial recognition that shows you're remembering something that fits what I'm saying. So I go on, and quickly. "I'm seeing red, or orange, not patches, but maybe rust and the pants are cordu--" And then you do the work for me by raising your eyebrows excitedly and saying "Corduroys! I had a pair of brown corduroys!" Before you can finish that sentence I reward you again with "That's right! You're right! They were brown corduroys."
See what just happened? The part you'd remember and justify to yourself belief in my abilities would be how I knew about your brown corduroy pants. But I didn't know about them. I threw the following at you until hitting on the one thing that stuck:
- bell-bottoms – no
- jeans – no
- slacks – too general, no
- patches – no
- red – no
- orange – no
- rust – waitaminute
- corduroy – corduroy!
So my success in guessing something so mundane and predictable as a pair of pants in your past would be remembered, but my failure to do that on 8 out of 9 actual guesses would not.

Expect a rinse and repeat in a little while.

No. I'm just happily evolving as I suffer from the utter tedium your anecdotes inspire.Maybe you are waiting for a sensible answer to a stupid question.
I did have long hair for a few years.
I never wore bell bottoms.
I don't remember how often I went to concerts, but I did go to a few.
But I still maintain I did not talk much about myself in the church, as I am not a chatty person. and a medium would have had a hard time getting any personal information. In any case why would they bother? I gave only a few shillings to the collection plate.
Also the mediums at church services only come to a church about once a year, the mediums are different every week, so they do not get to know you.
Maybe you are waiting for a sensible answer to a stupid question.
Do not despair; do not dwell on the negative side of any situation, for you will do no good by this. Always put into operation the forces of construction.

Scorp, you really, really, REALLY shouldn't call anybody else stupid.
"Then how do you know whether it is more “highly evolved “ or not than a human?"
That is a good question, because evolution has no "higher" level. It is always an adaptation to the circumstances, and as such is always higher - unless it is heading towards extinction.
This, of course, is the train of thought such questions are intended to provoke. Unfortunately it doesn't work if the listener has only a superficial (verging on zero) understanding of the evolutionary process. That is a good question, because evolution has no "higher" level.
