Can someone tell me, who has the first post in this (new) thread? Apparently, it is someone on my ignore list, so I can't see the thread without going to the old one and clicking the link to the new one.

It's Not Done to discuss ignore lists. You'll have to remove your entries one by one until you can see this thread to determine that. But I can't see why you'd bother.

Eta: I'm reminded of what the devil said when shearing a pig: 'much noise, little wool'.

Remember when Trump didn't leave the white house during the shutdown? Serendipitously the golf simulator at the white house was upgraded during that time at his expense.

President Trump has installed a room-sized “golf simulator” game at the White House, which allows him to play virtual rounds at courses all over the world by hitting a ball into a large video screen, according to two people told about the system.

That system replaced an older, less sophisticated golf simulator that had been installed under President Obama, according to two people with knowledge of the previous system.

Trump’s system cost about $50,000, and was put in during the last few weeks in a room in his personal quarters, a White House official said.

The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss details of the president’s private residence, said Trump had paid for the new system and the installation personally.

Now he can golf and rage tweet Faux News at the same executive time.

Who you gonna believe, me or your lyin' eyes?
On Monday night, President Donald Trump held a rally in El Paso, Texas. He chose the location based on his claim, delivered in last week’s State of the Union address, that a border wall had rescued the city from rampant crime. By the time Trump arrived, fact-checkers had demolished this lie, pointing out that the wall had no effect. But Trump told his followers to dismiss the numbers and trust him instead. And they did, because this is a measurable fact about Trump supporters: They’re willing to reject all other sources of information—crime statistics, intelligence agencies, even conservative media—when the president tells them to do so.

Having contacts with Russia was a regular part of Flynn's job.

That job had not started yet and he was still required to report contacts before and after it did start. There is no exception to this. Lying after the fact is still a crime. Had he reported the contact he would not have had an issue. There is no legal reason for him to first not report and then lie about the contact.

Promises, promises.

You do realize that the government just indicted somebody who defected to Iran 6 years ago. They are not in a hurry here either.
