Cont: Brilliant Light Power Going To Market - Free Energy Generator Part 3

Not open for further replies.
Just a step by step progress. Better first test with existing equipment, like a spot welder and easily available solar cells. Later build dedicated hw to feed 10000A at very low voltage using supercaps etc. and CPV panels to get direct electrical output, that could in next step be used for all input electricity plus some more. This latest PV setup is quite different than earlier, as they have invented better way.

But... the hydrino-forming reaction is supposed to be self-sustaining once ignited. The welder current was only needed to start it going. That's what Mills was saying two years ago. He had runs going continuously for months, he said.

So why oh why did he need to spend years developing a better igniter?

That's very telling. It's like saying, "Our new airliner design is so safe and reliable that we've delayed the market release for two years so we can perfect a high-altitude parachute escape system for the passengers."

“I was extremely excited,” Mills told BBC about the discovery, “and there were times when I was driving home and [thought] Oh god. I’m the only one in the world who actually knows of this solution. I should call my friend and tell him. What would happen if I crashed on the road and no one discovered this for another hundred years?” (BBC 1994).

Fortunately now many of us know.

Thanks tlp. I love personal anecdotes like that that bring more human elements into the equation.

To add to what's been posted already, if you had taken the time to read through this thread, and its predecessors, you'd have come across posts by ISF member Reality Check (haven't seen him in a while, hope he's OK).

He is certainly not the only ISF member who has read both Holverstott's and Mills' books, nor the only one to point out, um, shortcomings, but he's also spent countless hours writing detailed comments on the contents, directly rebutting some of the nonsense in them (sure, he sometimes made mistakes - don't we all? - mistakes which he quickly acknowledged when pointed out, and corrected them).

Strange, I don't recall Reality Check saying he had read Holverstott's book. The only skeptic on this thread mentioning he has read it is the happy skeptic. Or maybe I have missed some posts. And why welcome davefoc to the thread just now when he has been on it for a while.

There have been many iterations of the SunCell reaction, don't make the mistake of conflating them into one entity.
The reaction is not self sustaining. As far as I'm aware there needs to be at least occasional pulses of high current to deal with the charge buildup (from ionized catalyst) that would inhibit the reaction.

And distract attention away from just how many times over how many years Mills has failed to come up with a commercial device.

Dave

The problem you and others have is, no 'commercial device' is just about all your vision entails.

I certainly know how to heat up a vessel, create arcs, melt electrodes, and power LEDs as Mills has done.

The 'commercial device,' more specifically the promise thereof from two years ago, is the topic of the thread. Note the phrase in the thread title that prominently features the word 'market.'

Does Mills tell potential investors not to be concerned with any vision of a commercial device? Do you think maybe he should?

"We paid in advance, and we've been sitting here in your restaurant for two hours since we ordered our meals. Are we ever going to see any food?"

"The problem you and others have is 'food' is all you care about."

ETA: Of course, since I don't have any of my own money invested, I'd be perfectly happy with a non-commercial device reliably demonstrating excess energy from a hydrino-forming reaction that could be openly replicated and tested by any conventionally equipped university physics department. But that's not what Mills has been promising, even though his claims clearly imply that would be completely within his capacity to deliver at any time.

At current rates of progress, it might cut the time to market.

A working device, commercial or not, would be good evidence that Mills is onto something. By itself, it wouldn't be proof of hydrinos or confirmation of his version of physics. But, it would certainly be enough to convince most people to take him seriously and to take a second look at his writing.

But we have been waiting decades for a working device. And we have no good reason to expect one.

As already noted, a commercial device is precisely what the original 2017 thread is about.

For myself, though, I’m more interested in working prototypes that get shipped to truly independent test sites.

“The Chinese” will then do, in mere months, what Mills has failed to do, for several decades. :p

Thats why Mills won't send prototypes to independent test sites. He'll need to make a product before too many takes his seriously.

That video is from 1994. He had the solution then?

So just curious, how much faster than 100 years was his aha moment supposed to improve?

As far as I can tell all you have done is proven this was a scam all along. Same thing back then, always promises that we made the critical breakthrough.....it's just around the corner. said it back in 1994 and still saying it now with dozens of times in between.

But more importantly, you said
From https://patents.google.com/patent/US6024935A/en

In a fifth embodiment, the gas sample is purified by cryodistillation wherein normal hydrogen can be liquefied and separated from gaseous lower-energy hydrogen (dihydrino). The dihydrino can be concentrated by liquefaction in liquid helium.

I asked you to show me. You sent me papers for his misidentified hydrogen embrittlement crystals. But I was serious. If Mills actually has figured out how to use cryodistillation to obtain liquid dihydrino, then he absolutely has to have some around somewhere.

Show me.

This is not trivial Markie. He says he has it. He has a patent on the process. It can't be misinterpreted as anything else. It is the only thing that could possibly show this whole operation is not a complete multi-million dollar scam worthy of jail time.

Show me

Don't ignore this. I am backing you into a corner now for very good reason. This simple thing he has either lied about, and he can't show because hydrinos don't exist, or it is real and hydrinos unambiguously do exist.:boxedin:

Show me

I gave you a couple days to find this evidence.

Show me!

Mills claims that the physics is proven (how is the analysis of all those hydrino compounds going?), and he is only interested in making a product at this point. This is a brilliant strategy, which allows him to never have to actually prove that hydrinos exist, or that he is producing energy. He can claim that it is all engineering problems now.

Of course, nothing has been proven, and his engineering projects have been jokes. The SunCell was the worst piece of flim-flam I've ever seen. It was obviously stupid to anyone with engineering background.

I don't have any money invested either, but someone tried to get me and my friends to buy in to a hedge fund he was creating, consisting of BLP shares. I researched it so that I could prevent others from being scammed. This isn't fun and games. There are shares floating around that are being sold privately. It isn't just rich investors who are being bilked out of money here.

No no no

Wrong wrong wrong

That's what Mills claims, but it is called a misdirection.

What Mills needs to produce is a hydrino before anyone takes him seriously. He claims he has, but so far nada zip zero.

No hydrino and no product can ever be made...ever....not in 100 years, not in 1000 years.

The Emperor has no clothes.:covereyes

Development would have been faster with some support.
Development would have been finished decades ago if hydrinos existed. Support unlimited. In fact he would be the richest man in the world right now. The Rockefellers mere peasants by comparison.

But so far he has yet to even show us 1 single solitary hydrino and most people refuse to support a fraud unless they get sucked in by misdirection.

Has anyone else gotten the impression that Mills is having to work harder on these demos and presentation slides than he used to back in the 90s and 00s? All that 3-D modeling, all those high-current low-voltage buzzy glowy boxes? It seems not that long ago he could "test" one box for the better part of a decade, with new wiring or a new electrode from time to time. Now he's padding the reports by 3-D printing manifolds ("look! a shape! look! a mold that molds that shape!"), re-inventing how power plants work ("look! a 3D model of the piping and wiring for a steam turbine!"), making fancy charts of market demand ("look! people use electricity!"), parts lists, and on and on.

I was shaking my head looking at all the slides about half a dozen ways one could hook up generators to his reactors. How about doing one of them, and showing us the energy? The slides are probably the creation of an intern graphic computer artist, stealing from some online blueprints. They haven't made one of these things.

I am especially impressed with the flim-flam of the magneto-hydrodynamic generator. Mills keeps resurfacing this idea, when it makes no sense. He makes light and heat. The light quickly turns to heat when absorbed. So, he has heat. Just stick a sun-cell in my house in the winter, with a fan on it, or connect it to my water radiator. You don't even need to generate electricity for it to be useful. (Mills, if you are reading this, I expect the water-radiator slide to be added to your next "business presentation" PDF ;) )

It's like someone saying "We've invented a flame that gives out 10x the energy of a conventional flame. Too bad it has taken 30 years to figure out how to get the energy from it".
