But a wall built with American taxpayers' money is not what he promised.

Yes! Over the weekend, I kept hearing Trumpette talking heads saying, "He campaigned on this, he's going to go through with it."

Well, he also campaigned on Mexico paying for it. Why isn't he being held to that?

Sadly, the spin is that USA is making more money because of NAFTA2, so Mexico is paying (indirectly) for the wall.

Nonsense and bad spin, of course.

Not only is it probably not true that the new trade agreement is bringing in more money. That HAS NOTHING ...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the wall. Trump makes this crap up. Pulls it right out of his ass.

Make that definitely, seeing as the three countries have yet to ratify the agreement.

The problem with Trump Math is that everything has to be zero sum. If he wants to claim an expense was worthwhile he just looks for something in the CR column that he can claim as income as a result of that expense. "NAFTA, that like involves Mexico, right? And the wall is surely about Mexico, so it makes sense to count them together." Never mind that there have been zero actual revenues from the Not-Really-NAFTA-At-All-No-Really agreements thus far. He might as well be claiming the counter receipts for all Mexican restaurants in the country claiming that The Wall made it possible for their profits this year.

In short.... he's an idiot.

In short.... he's an idiot.

The man is supposed to have an MBA. MBA courses love to teach game theory. Game theory does teach that there are other favorable outcomes outside of zero sum game parameters.

Trump appears to understand none of this. It is like he purchased the MBA without ever doing anything work.

In short.... he's an idiot.

The problem with Trump math is it is not math. Trump dismisses 'numbers' for what feels right to him. Trump's so called numbers are just more fabricated nonsense.

He went to the Wharton School, not THE Wharton School of Business. He has a BS in Economics. Not an MBA.

Trump has a bachelor's degree from Penn, where he attended for his junior and senior year of undergrad. At that time, business / economics Bachelor of Science degrees were awarded from the Wharton school. He does not have an MBA, unless he got an honorary degree or something. I believe that I've heard him casually drop "Wharton" as if he's hinting that he has the more prestigious MBA degree.

My first thought on clicking on that thread was "that's obviously a reference to One, Two, Buckle My Shoe". Then I find that that's been pointed out in one of the first posts, as well as the fact that it's got nothing to do with violence, and everything to do with a child's game.

That may be true, but I guess you lack the hopefullyunique insightviewpoints of various posters here.

What did you do during the War, Daddy?
It turns out all the rumors and speculation may be true after all and President Donald Trump likely never suffered from bone spurs. Trump famously received a medical exemption from the military during the Vietnam War because he was diagnosed with bone spurs in his heels. But now the daughters of a Queens podiatrist tell the New York Times their late father wrote the diagnosis as a favor to the president’s father, Fred Trump, who was the foot doctor’s landlord.
