If you think Blackwater/new name/new name/whatever Prince calls them now is more powerful that the military, I would doubt that judgement. Who else would this private military be and who would arm them?

When I checked on on the NORAD Santa Tracker he was delivering presents to Tehran. I'm sort of surprised that if The Don was watching, he hasn't yet slapped sanctions on Santa and demanded his arrest for breaching the Iran trade ban.
 
He does keep dwindling his demand though, remember when it was much, much more $$$ needed, that Mexico would pay for it, and that it would be a wall?

Isn't that negotiating 101.. start with higher demands than you actually need... and you have room to concede and still end up with what you want/need?

Yes, but not to this extent. This is "please give me something, anything, so I can look tough to my base." Good negotiation doesn't start with a demand over 300% of what you want.
 
I have to wonder how much is hanging over the holidays. The stock market has been brutal. It appears as if faith has finally been totally lost in this government. I don't think the GOP is very happy with Trump at all at this point, and if anything will make them act against him, this kind of thing will.

It's just amazing that Trump would attack the Federal Bank. What a loose screw he is.

I don't know how accurate the image is of him sitting alone in the White House. It's quite pathetic if it's true. Perhaps his safety wasn't guaranteed with the shutdown. I can't imagine anyone could make him stay away from his Florida golf course except through fear, so perhaps that's it.

But a wall built with American taxpayers' money is not what he promised.

What he actually promised was that a wall would be built, and that Mexico would pay for it. Even if he does get his wall money, he will not be able to fulfil his promise to the rampant bigots and racists that make up his Looney Tunes base.

Doesn't matter, all this is, is Trumper-tantrum wanting to be in charge. He's ineffective and ignorant, and he's offended the peasants are not bowing down and adoring him. So he acts tough even though no one but his cult followers thinks he actually is tough.

The world is laughing at him, he believes he owns the government.

It'll pass, he'll pretend his power trip was effective, he'll go on believing he actually is the great dictator POTUS who knows all.

People are saying he is the smartest president ever in the history of presidents and no one can make deals like he can. All the best people are saying that. He read it somewhere.
 
Instead of $5 billion for the Wall, just give Hannity $500,000 to convince Trump that he has made his point and can now magnanimously end the Shutdown.
Much cheaper and just as effective against illegal immigration.
