There is no misconception, and if there was, Alan D just published another piece that makes it clear.

Listen, if you want to say that Alan said something on TV that sounded dumb and was wrong, guilty as charged.

What it makes clear is this is Dershowitz wishful thinking about what he believes the law should be, not an expert's explanation on what the law actually is.

So The Big Dog strikes out again.

These are facts.

Are these "facts" of the same calibre as the facts that Sullivan was likely to dismiss the case against Flynn because the FBI failed to submit the requested documents correctly?

Or of the same calibre as your understanding of the meaning of the word uniform?

Accurate as asterisks.

The House Intelligence Committee voted unanimously on Thursday to transmit what appeared to be testimony from Roger Stone, a longtime Donald Trump adviser, to special counsel Robert Mueller.

Linky.

To be fair, no more troops coming home injured or in body bags can be seen as a gain - at least short term.
Also we benefit(?) from not having our POTUS publicly humiliated by a piss tape. Or whatever it is that Putin holds over his servile, docile lapdog.

Because the R's currently running the committee knew it would be released by the D's immediately after they take power; and this makes them look slightly less like tools/fools.

If it ever does come down to being impeached or indicted on a felony, Trump will have a strong case that his lawyers were incompetent.

Article says that mueller is going to indict him for lying to Congress?

That makes no sense, Mueller has a limited scope, which does not include lying to Congress in investigations he was not involved in...

What are we missing?

I’m fairly sure that’s not the case. If you want me to find the specific wording from the charge given to Mueller, let me know and I’ll check it.

I see you have again forgotten the actual scope of Mueller's authority.

Trump is an amoral grifter and you would seek to defend him on what in your own mind is a technicality. Happy Jesus’s birthday, fellow skeptic.

Literally just following up on a claim. If that is wrong I am certain that you will let me know.

A claim was made, I would like the proof.

Could you make a substantive claim?

I have, numerous. Just made one about Mueller’s scope.

Got several bitter replies, but literally not a single substantive reply as of the time of your reply.

Dive in! Congress refers lying in front of it to DoJ, why would DoJ refer it to mueller?

Anyone?
