Trump has gone from claiming victory over ISIS to saying other countries will have to fight ISIS, in less than 24 hours.

So hard to believe that Lindsey Graham would be against saving soldier lives & billions of $$$. Why are we fighting for our enemy, Syria, by staying & killing ISIS for them, Russia, Iran & other locals? Time to focus on our Country & bring our youth back home where they belong!

Now that the corridor from Iran to Syria will be much easier to manage for Iran after Trump's retreat, we can add that victory to the ability to make nuclear weapons, at least as far as the effects of Trump "policy" is concerned.

The next time anyone in the region is asked to ally with the US, they will hear the whisper, "Remember the Kurds." Sign a treaty? "Remember Tehran, Paris."

He has NO idea what US military is doing there, does he. They are training Kurdish troops who do the actual fighting. It has been Kurdish troops and Syrian loyalists who have pushed back ISIS. Of course, it's complicated with Turkey and Russia weighing in as well. But generally, the US is providing few frontline grunts just training, air and intelligence support.

Trump seems to be confusing Syria with Afghanistan, where US troops ARE being killed. But he hasn't called for a withdrawal from there yet. Hardly surprising for him though, though.

Trump has no idea what he's doing period. This administration is utter chaos.

It would be so nice if Graham would suddenly grow a set of brass balls.

I notice Gülen's nephew - who has reportedly only met him once, per The Guardian - has been sentenced to 7.5 years on terrorism charges for his alleged plotting in the "coup" that gave Erdogan cover to purge and/or charge hundreds of thousands of people. This looks like upping the heat on Gülen.

If I were him, I would seriously think about asking for asylum in Canada. ETA: The Turks might not be satisfied with Trump's selling out the Kurds.

The first few responses to him are quite mocking.

Megan Mullally is no Trump fan. Here is what she said to Stephen Colbert about that Emmy show skit:
Mullally and Trump were paired together when the 2005 Emmys decided to throw its own version of "American Idol" called "Emmy Idol."

That night, celebrities performed various television show theme songs and the viewers were able to vote via phone. Mullally and Trump performed the "Green Acres" theme song and the future US president really got into character.

Colbert tried to coax the actress into complimenting Trump. To which the "Will & Grace" star replied, "I'm not giving him any points. Sorry."

Apparently, Trump didn't take the competition lightly. He insisted that the pair had to come out on top of the competition.

"He wanted to win it," Mullally said. "So we won it. The next day, I was in my 'Will & Grace' dressing room and the phone rang. It was Donald Trump. And he said, 'You know what? We really needed to win that thing and we did. And you were a big part of that. Not only did we win it, we killed them. It was a landslide.'"

After Colbert congratulated her, Mullally said, "If he felt that way about 'Emmy Idol,' how do you think he felt about the presidential election?"

One thing that is pretty consistent about Twitter is that 95% of the responses to The PDJT's posts are critical. If you want to see the other side just read the comments section of any article on the Fox News website.

Without the phony Russia Witch Hunt, and with all that we have accomplished in the last almost two years (Tax & Regulation Cuts, Judge’s, Military, Vets, etc.) my approval rating would be at 75% rather than the 50% just reported by Rasmussen. It’s called Presidential Harassment!

It is a shame for the US that it is as high as 10%.
