Judge just asked if Flynn committed treason...

Before I said Flynn supporters should be worried, not encouraged, that Judge Sullivan wanted to see the 302s about his interview. I was right. Judge Sullivan is pissed. That was not an amazing prediction. Flynn's arguments were obviously reckless. /1

/2 But here's the thing: federal sentencings are often theater. Flynn is ******** a brick right now, but I still think there's an excellent chance that he'll get probation, and that the judge is just scaring him and making a show. We'll see. I'd give it 50/50.

Unsurprisingly, the judge doesn't know the law as well as TBD.
 
What - being an unregistered agent for a foreign country while working as the National Security Advisor is some kind of crime?

Unless TBDs first post consists of "I was completely wrong" he should be banned for life. Otherwise he is wasting everyone's time

Along with what Comey has said in the past couple of days, I'm thrilled that high officials with integrity - I see now this excludes Republicans in Congress - are expressing outrage at the serious, serious damage this Administration has done to our country and democracy.

This approach needs to be shouted from the highest rooftop within all the investigations. There must not be any soft or polite language. Flynn sold his country out. Trump is doing serious damage to our democracy. Etc.
 
Sullivan: I wasn't suggesting he had committed treason. I was just curious.

Judge Sullivan is back on the bench, says he misspoke in suggesting Flynn was a foreign agent while in the White House. And also says he never meant to suggest that Flynn committed treason. He says not to read too much into the questions he asks
