No Justice for Flynn?
No peace!
Actual justice for Flynn would involve him going to jail and losing his pension.
No Justice for Flynn?
No peace!
And frustration. Which he must hate. I find it most gratifying.Jesus, that guy just reeks of desperation.
Putin despises Trump. But he loves that he's a useful idiot.
Not only that, his judgement of character is completely ******-up. He holds up Mike Flynn as a hero, duped into lying by the eebil FBI Deep State Lackeys, while also having the sheer gall to slander and besmirch the good name of a real, actual, bonfide, life-long Republican and decorated war hero.
The reality is that Flynn is a scumbag, who sold out his country for money, while Mueller is a man of honour and dignity (words that do not appear in the Trump Sycophant's vocabulary). The only reason Flynn is unlikely to be sentenced to a long time behind bars is because he was smart enough to understand that he was caught, and there was no way out but to get in early and co-operate to the fullest extent possible. Its the old Police adage, the first to make a deal gets the best deal.
No Justice for Flynn?
No peace!
No Justice for Flynn?
No peace!
Its 27 minutes long, so as usual, those with short attention spans should avoid.

Why is Flynn not a "rat"?
Judge Sullivan asks Flynn if he wished to challenge the circumstances by which he was interviewed by the FBI. "No, your honor."
Judge Sullivan is making sure it’s abundantly clear that Michael Flynn is pleading guilty because he’s guilty. That he lied to the FBI, that he knew it was wrong to lie to the FBI.
Judge Sullivan, question Flynn lawyer: How is raising those contentions about the circumstances under which Mr. Flynn lied consistent with acceptance of responsibility?
Judge Sullivan giving Flynn one final shot to withdraw his guilty plea. Judge asks if he wants to proceed.
FLYNN: “I would like to proceed.”
Because you’re guilty?
FLYNN: “Yes, your honor.”
Now proceeding.
NEWS: Michael Flynn just deflated Trump’s contention that he was duped into lying to FBI. "I was aware" that lying to FBI investigators was a crime when he did so over interactions with Russians, Flynn tells judge
"I do not" seek to withdraw the plea, Flynn tells the judge.
Judge Sullivan asks Flynn's attorney Stephen Anthony if Flynn was "entrapped by the FBI." Anthony says, "No, your honor." Per @kpolantz
The lawyer is backstroking away from that memo at an Olympic-worthy speed.
Sullivan also led Flynn attorney Robert Kelner through a colloquy asking if it was the defense's contention that the FBI was legally obligated to remind Flynn that lying to the FBi is a federal crime, or that "Mr. Flynn was entrapped by the FBI."
"No, your honor," Kelner said.
Kelner also answered in the negative when asked by Sullivan if he contended that Flynn's rights were violated by the fact that no lawyer was present, that Flynn may have been dissuaded from a having lawyer present, at the Jan. 24, 2017 FBI interview...
.. or whether any misconduct by the FBI "raised any degree of doubt that Mr. Flynn intentionally lied to the FBI."
"No, your honor," Kelner said, adding that Flynn stood by his guilty plea.
“This is a very serious offense -- a high-ranking senior official of the government, making false statements to the Federal Bureau of Investigation while on the physical premises of the White House,” Sullivan said, accenting every word, adding,...
“The court will also consider [the defendant’s] substantial assistance in several investigations," Judge Sullivan said.
Gov says the decision to proceed to sentencing is based on the totality of Flynn's assistance. Has already provided “vast majority” of his potential cooperation. Highlights indictment unsealed yesterday against Flynn’s business partner.
Judge Sullivan: So Flynn could’ve also been charged in that indictment unsealed in Virginia yesterday, right? Gov: Yes.
Judge Sullivan: “Exposure to Mr. Flynn would have been significant?” Gov: Yes.
... hilarious to participants on the ISF politics forum at least.<snip hilarious details>
Wasn't this the judge that was going to set the record straight?... hilarious to participants on the ISF politics forum at least.
The deep state forced him to say those things.
Judge Sullivan:
“This crime is very serious.”
“In the White House! In the West Wing!”
“It’s a very serious offense.”
“You can’t minimize that.”
Judge Sullivan to Michael Flynn: “Arguably, you sold your country out."
Judge Sullivan: “I’m not hiding my disgust, my distain for this criminal offense.”
Says he can’t guarantee he’s going to avoid incarceration. Gives Flynn yet another opportunity to speak with his lawyers.
SULLIVAN WARNS FLYNN OF A PRISON SENTENCE:
"You were an unregistered agent of a foreign country while serving as the National Security Adviser to the president!
"Arguably, this undermines everything this flag over here stands for! Arguably, you sold your country out!"
Because Donnie Boy is witness tampering. He's still holding out the Flynn will build a wall and is signaling that he'll pardon him if he's a good scout.
Flynn prosecutor declines to answer whether Flynn could have been charged with treason given the seriousness of the charge - when asked by judge.
