I wonder how that chief of staff search is going. Candidates do not seem to be lining up for the honor.
I recommend Rod Blagojevich.
He was a Democrat. There is more than enough republican talent that Trump could pick for this post.

I'd go with The Mooch. It would be entertaining and we never got a chance to see what he could actually do.

Or Rob Porter. Yeah, there are allegations he beat women, but he should fit right in to the republican administration that nominated Drunky McRapeface for the supreme court. Synergy and all.

Some of them actually think their conditions are improving under him. That their only news sources are Fox and the worse ones on the internet is a big part of that.

I can attest to this. Every time I talk to my father I'm assured that the economy is growing and there are more jobs opening up than ever. This is before I remind him that politics is a verboten subject (I don't want to argue myself out of +/- $85K in inheritance).

All he ever watches is Fox. In the car it's Limbaugh. And I don't get it. The man used to be a card-carrying, pot-smoking hippy. He gave next to zero credit to Reagan for ending the Cold War.

This raises an interesting question: How much is Pence involved with Dump and his administration. At least publicly he has been 100% behind Dump. I doubt he's involved in all the financial fraud at all but on immigration, environment, policy I just don't know - or even have a good guess.

One could say being VP is the best job or the worst job one can have. VP has only one duty and that is breaking ties in the Senate. Being 'involved' isn't necessarily part of the job. And with notable exceptions they have done little else. In the past, they have been the designated hatchet man an that's it.

Trump earns new rating for truthfulness: "Bottomless Pinocchios."
Trump’s willingness to constantly repeat false claims has posed a unique challenge to fact-checkers. Most politicians quickly drop a Four-Pinocchio claim, either out of a duty to be accurate or concern that spreading false information could be politically damaging.

Not Trump. The president keeps going long after the facts are clear, in what appears to be a deliberate effort to replace the truth with his own, far more favorable, version of it. He is not merely making gaffes or misstating things, he is purposely injecting false information into the national conversation.

To accurately reflect this phenomenon, The Washington Post Fact Checker is introducing a new category — the Bottomless Pinocchio. That dubious distinction will be awarded to politicians who repeat a false claim so many times that they are, in effect, engaging in campaigns of disinformation.

Democrats can’t find a Smocking Gun tying the Trump campaign to Russia after James Comey’s testimony. No Smocking Gun...No Collusion.”
@FoxNews
That’s because there was NO COLLUSION. So now the Dems go to a simple private transaction, wrongly call it a campaign contribution,...

....which it was not (but even if it was, it is only a CIVIL CASE, like Obama’s - but it was done correctly by a lawyer and there would not even be a fine. Lawyer’s liability if he made a mistake, not me). Cohen just trying to get his sentence reduced. WITCH HUNT!

Has he been checked for reduced blood flow to the brain?;)

I had the opposite experience. My dad, a career military officer hailing from the very red state of Montana, last voted R for Reagan. As he and my mom both said, they didn't leave the GOP, it left them. He would be horrified at the state of the GOP today and especially of Trump.
