By all accounts, Pence is somewhat dense. But he does think that God intends for him to become President.
So my guess is that he is just trying to fly under the radar until Divine Intervention gets rid of Trump.

According to NYT, Jared and MBS are tight. The Wooing of Jared Kushner: How the Saudis Got a Friend in the White House.

Given Mr. Kushner’s political inexperience, the private exchanges could make him susceptible to Saudi manipulation ... chief of staff tried to reimpose longstanding procedures stipulating that National Security Council staff members should participate in all calls with foreign leaders
...
But even with the restrictions in place, [they] kept chatting ... calling each other Jared and Mohammed in text messages and phone calls
...
The exchanges continued even after the Oct. 2 killing of Jamal Khashoggi

A spoilt rich kid who's been able to buy himself out of any problem and a murdureous, manipulative political dynasty. What could go wrong?

Like Trump, I think the time is coming that that little **** will be in a situation that be can't buy, extort or bully his way out of. I should probably have a bottle of champagne to one hand for when that moment comes.

According to tax returns the New York Times obtained and published two years ago, in 1995 Trump reported a $900 million personal loss on the Atlantic City casinos. It's been documented that at one point, Trump was flat broke and had to ask his brothers for investment money to restart his, Donald's, business career. It has also been documented that at one point, Trump avoided a casino bankruptcy (by missing a loan payment deadline) by having his father send someone to one of the casinos and "buy" $3 million in chips.

Would you want to go into business with someone like this? ;)

This raises an interesting question: How much is Pence involved with Dump and his administration. At least publicly he has been 100% behind Dump. I doubt he's involved in all the financial fraud at all but on immigration, environment, policy I just don't know - or even have a good guess.

There were rumors after the Access Hollywood video surfaced that Pence was plotting a coup to steal the top of the ticket. In public he's been 100% behind Trump, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's like the people who give the highest praise in social situations: A complete phony. Vice presidents are often kept out of the loop, but I'm sure Pence has actively maintained a wall of separation regarding finances and anything remotely Russian.

No, I would want to elect him President. For life.

Honestly I think he's doing the terrible spelling on purpose.

I don't think so - more likely furiously typing and worried little fingers.

His harm was not limited by skin color. No, the brunt of his harm, be it financial, environmental or other, fell on those on the lower rungs of society.

Harming lower and middle class *white* people is against Trump's promise that he'd "look out for" them by bringing back jobs, rebuilding infrastructure using state power against nonwhite people, particularly nonwhite immigrants.

Trump lies to people's faces when they know what the truth is. He even does it when he knows they know the truth. It's bizarre. It's like he's trying to convince people that the earth is not round and the Sun doesn't rise in the East.

Trump is and always will be a malign thug.

For somebody who claims to be so media savvy, Trump seems slow to realize that his Tweets in which he basically tries to backtrack when something he says or did blow up in his face often just make him look worse.

Whatever it does is automatically worse.

Why is it business-as-usual that the President gets to call the Election rigged, declaring massive voter fraud, and no one bats an eye?
How have we gotten to a stage when we offhandedly dismiss the claims of direct attacks on our Democracy because they come from a known conspiracy nut who just happens to be the Commander-in-Chief?
How is it not a Constitutional Crisis when the rational thing to do is to disregard what the sitting president says?

You left out an "h" in your last sentence above.

Some of them actually think their conditions are improving under him. That their only news sources are Fox and the worse ones on the internet is a big part of that.
