My hilite

Riiight ... the Planck mission set out, explicitly, to detect low intensity microwave emissions from the CMB (as did WMAP, and plenty of other observational projects). I guess they should have consulted Mills before setting out on a fool's errand ... :p

The Planck mission can detect between .3 mm and 11.1 mm. Since one of the hydrino hyperfine transitions is about .5 mm it might be able to see it.
Mills can detect it in the lab, anyway.

Yeah, common enough to cause surface energetic events on the sun.
<snip>
Not to mention totally screw up standard solar models, all the papers on stellar evolution, in situ observations of the solar wind, ...

Mills obviously deserves far more than one Nobel Prize... :p

And yet, it didn’t. Nor has any other microwave/THz observatory. Nor any other such line.

And, with the exception of the MW plane, no such observatory has found any opacity to prevent observations of high-z objects.

Kinda odd, given what you’ve written in previous posts, wouldn’t you say?

Mills can detect it in the lab, anyway.
But no one else can, or ever has.

Curious.

Look into it and you will find Mills has another cosmology that doesn't involve a big bang, nor a miraculous inflation stage, nor curve fitting, nor massive proportions of exotic non baryonic matter. Yet he deduces the temperature of the CMBR, its fluctuations and polarization.

STOP THE PRESSES!

markie admits that Mills does not use curve fitting!! :jaw-dropp

What does he use instead, markie? His exquisite intuitive sense of how the universe works? :p

Mindlessly parrots Mills' insane "cosmology"

Look into it and you will find Mills has another cosmology that doesn't involve a big bang,....
10 December 2018 markie: Mindlessly parrots and lies about Mills' insane "cosmology" that he has known abut for almost 2 years.

Mills insanity just starts with denying the enormous evidence for the Big Bang. Already documented in Mills hydrino is delusional theoretical physics because his book is full of ignorance, delusions and even lies.
From Part II: 24 items of ignorance, delusions and lies in Mills book:
3 March 2017: Page 1490 starts with a lie about the Friedmann equations which include the cosmological constant.
3 March 2017: Page 1491 has the idiocy of the Big Bang requiring a center of expansion.
10 March 2017: Page 1498 has a "harmonic cycle of expansion and contraction" fantasy calculation.
10 March 2017: Page 1498 "Equations of the Evolution of the Universe" ignorance of cosmology.
10 March 2017: Pages 1499-1508 are math and nonsense based on his fantasy.
10 March 2017: Page 1495 onward "The Expanding Universe and the Microwave Background" is basically a lie
Mills does not derive or deduce the measured properties of the CMBR.
  • Temperature
  • Black body spectrum
  • Power spectrum
  • Isotropy
  • Variation of temperature with distance
Mills has insane assertions about working cosmology and the measured properties of the CMBR. There is what looks like utter ignorance about the B-modes and E-modes. Madness of "CMBR temperature fluctuations by Thompson scattering of the CMBR by stellar and interstellar medium plasma electrons". Stupidity of trusting the BICEP2 results which were dubious from time they were announced.

Took a closer look and I see it only measures the higher frequencies in 6 bands:
100, 140, 220, 350, 550, 850 GHz. So it is clearly a different kind of measurement than what I was supposing. It would miss the 642 GHz line altogether. I can only suppose you didn't know this, or if you did, shame.

But no one else can, or ever has.
Curious.

Sure, there was J. Lotoski, G. Zhao, K. Akhtar, Z. Chang, J. He, X. Hu, G. Wu, G. Chu, Y. Lu as well.

Yeah, sort of like that I suppose.

Ah curve fitting. What did John von Neumann say? "With four parameters I can fit an elephant, and with five I can make him wiggle his trunk."

I would say at least three.

And with a little thought and knowledge you could understand the empirical evidence for the Big Bang, markie, and that it is not just "curve fitting".

It is what is taught in high school science classes but more complex. Take a set of data. Take a theory that may explain that data. Use the theory to generate a prediction for the data. And here is where the curve fitting comes: see how well the prediction fits the data.

Take the CMB as an example. We collect CMB data. We predict that the CMB will have a black body spectrum. We plot CMB data. We fit a black body curve to the data. We find that the only way to distinguish between the data and curve on the graph is to multiply error bars by 400 and even then some data points are overlaid by the prediction :eye-poppi!

If a ball with a certain charge is brought near a thin light sheet with the opposite charge, the sheet will wrap around the ball. Static cling. Why does it do this? In order to achieve an energy minimum. 'Force' is the means to achieving this energy minimum.

That's why I come here.

Endless font of irrelevancy.

I am producing power in two ways right now myself. Lifestyle requires it, and I am cool with it.

Why not choose something that actually produces power? Seems a more sensible approach than conning people.

So still no answer as to what forces cause the disk of an electron to become a shell around a neutron. No answer as to how it's even possible for this disk to become a sphere. Just an analogy that markie has admitted doesn't fit what he was trying to illustrate.

And definitely no answer as to what evidence there is that dark matter is made out of hydrinos. Still just Mills' assertion, it seems.

One suggestion for help. Let's face it ; the unicorn is elusive and almost impossible to find. But when the unicorn poop hits the fan and some gets splattered on certain faces, samples obtained thereon could always always be sent in for DNA analysis.

Silly boy. Cotton candy and marshmallows don’t have DNA!

The sun is not a hydrogen bomb. The fusion rate in the sun is incredibly low. Your own metabolism probably generates more heat per unit volume than does the sun.

Are you deliberately confusing "The fusion rate in the sun" with the "heat per unit volume" of the sun?

"The fusion rate in the sun is" 620 million metric tons of hydrogen per second. A 50 megaton hydrogen bomb fuses about 12 kilograms Lithium-Deuteride. So that would limit fusion time for the bomb fuel to less than 1.9E-11 seconds just to be a faster rate. I haven't found any specific references to such fusion times.

I never said there was an activation energy for a positive ion to capture an electron. If you recall the context it was about hydrino formation, not electron capture by a proton.

Whatever you want to think or claim the "context" was, the actual text was Squeegee Beckenheim asking you about the formation of the electron shell from free electron capture.

Why? Because it has a force acting on the outside of it, and opposite forces acting on the edges. It's not comparable.

But how does it being difficult to form make sense, if "nature seeks the low energy state"?

Thankfully nature also makes it difficult to achieve low energy states. If not, our Sun would have turned into a hydrogen bomb billions of years ago.
Similarly in chemistry one has 'activation energy' that is a barrier to exothermic reactions resulting in a lower energy state.

Are you deliberately trying to be as demonstrably wrong as possible?

ETA:

A reference for the Tsar Bomba puts the time for that 50 Mt fusion reaction at about 3.9 nanoseconds (3.9E-8 seconds). A fusion rate of over 205 times slower than that of the sun.

https://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~rwest/wikispeedia/wpcd/wp/t/Tsar_Bomba.htm

Since 50 Mt is 2.1×1017 joules, the average power produced during the entire fission-fusion process, lasting around 3.9×10-8 seconds or 39 nanoseconds, was a power of about 5.3×1024 watts or 5.3 yottawatts. This is equivalent to approximately 1% of the power output of the Sun. The detonation of Tsar Bomba therefore qualifies, even to this day, as being the single most powerful device ever utilized throughout the history of humanity.

It is Mill's own assertion that he can get the right answer from the wrong physics. Though, on inspection, we generally find even those answers to be wrong.

Only ~two months to go before a working prototype becomes available to independent labs for testing, and perhaps only a few days to weeks before such labs confirm the dawn of a revolution in power generators. ;)

And this revolution in cosmology has been published in which relevant, peer-reviewed journal, may I ask?

By now, I imagine it would have attracted hundreds, if not thousands, of citations ... :p
