Yes, yes!! Thanks for hunting that up. So Colbert signed the money over to Jon then.

Eventually it went to charities, illustrating again how murky the reporting requirements are.

On November 12, 2012, Colbert announced his intention to dissolve Colbert Super PAC, citing the death of his fictional advisor "Ham Rove", a parody of Karl Rove.[44] Colbert reported that the Super PAC still had nearly $800,000 in funds. Colbert's lawyer, Trevor Potter, advised Stephen that he could form a second anonymous 501(c)(4), then make out a check with the remaining funds to his first 501(c)(4) along with an Agency Letter which instructed the original 501(c)(4) to pay those funds to the second 501(c)(4) and give dispersal instructions to that second 501(c)(4). In doing so, he could avoid telling anyone - even the IRS - where the money went.[45]
On December 13, 2012, Colbert reported that a nonprofit called the "Ham Rove Memorial Foundation," which Colbert was "surprised" he was on the board of, received a donation of $773,704.83, which was the amount that was left over from the Super PAC according to termination reports filed with the FEC.[46] This money was distributed in $125,000 increments equally to four charities: DonorsChoose (Hurricane) Sandy Relief Fund, Team Rubicon, Habitat for Humanity, and the Yellow Ribbon Fund. The remaining money was split between the Campaign Legal Center and the Center for Responsive Politics, which both focus on campaign finance reform.[44][47] As part of the acceptance of the "Ham Rove Memorial Fund" donation, the Campaign Legal Center agreed to name their meeting space "The Ham Rove Memorial Conference Room." Additionally, the Center for Responsive Politics agreed to name their conference room "The Colbert Super Pac Memorial Conference Room."[48]

"3 Chief of Staffs in less than 3 years of being President: Part of the reason why @BarackObama can't manage to pass his agenda." -- realDonaldTrump

Funny part is, Obama's agenda moved along pretty well in the first two years, especially given the massive recession and near-collapse of the auto industry he also had to deal with.

Trump was handed the easiest possible situation, and managed to harm nonwhite people, and that's about it as far as his agenda was going in. No, he did not promise a big tax cut for wealthy people and major corporations.

I'm pretty sure he promised the opposite.

I guess Tucker found it a bit crowded up in Trumps ass; has to get out for a while.

It seems to me he's upset Trump didn't take a harder line on immigration. Kind of like Ann Coulter complained for a while. Tucker's main issue as far as I can tell is he doesn't approve of demographic change. Trump is not conservative enough for him. Still I was slightly surprised to find he's not a complete sycophant.

Very sad day & night in Paris. Maybe it’s time to end the ridiculous and extremely expensive Paris Agreement and return money back to the people in the form of lower taxes? The U.S. was way ahead of the curve on that and the only major country where emissions went down last year!
Half-true according to Politifact

They fell, but at a slower rate than they fell under Obama.

As far as the "only major country," I didn't see that addressed. But this article was from June.

ETA: Based on what I was able to dig up quickly, I doubt if the decrease is unique to the U.S., but the timing is difficult to pin down. This from The Guardian, though.

Jealous of Hannity?

China is outraged at arrest of Huawei CFO in Canada after U.S. request and Bolton claims this sort of thing happens all the time, no need to inform the POTUS of all of them.

Who is he kidding?

A casualty of the Trade War - no kidding now that it isn't one.

Either Trump wanted this as a negotiation token, or the DOJ is basically messing with the Administration by strictly following orders about enforcing the isolation of Iran.
I am certain plenty of US CEOs are delaying trips to China they might have planned.
Ignorance has consequences.

My guess is this is something that was moving through the usual processes in the levels Trump ignores until, whoops.

...Still I was slightly surprised to find [Tucker Carlson's] not a complete sycophant.

It would seem any mature adult with any intelligence has to have some serious reservations about Donald Trump. Carlson certainly seems to have his share. From the interview with Urs Gehriger, editor of Die Weltwoche, Switzerland’s leading German-language opinion weekly.
“His chief promises were that he would build the wall, defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare, and he hasn’t done any of those things,” Carlson said, adding that those goals were probably lost causes. Trump, he said, doesn’t understand the system, and his own agencies don’t support him. “He knows very little about the legislative process, hasn’t learned anything, hasn’t surrounded himself with people that can get it done, hasn’t done all the things you need to do, so it’s mostly his fault that he hasn’t achieved those things,” he added. Link

This is also what I heard a very successful businessman (whom I used to work for) comment about Trump. The football league, the airline, the casinos, they all failed and failed dramatically. In other words, they no longer exist. Yet, he said, Trump didn't seem to take the lessons that could have been learned from each failure and apply it to the next venture. He concluded, "To go on losing the kind of money Trump's lost, there's got to be something wrong with this guy. Either that or he's an idiot."

Carlson is distancing himself from Trump, whereas Hannity has linked his fate to him: I very much doubt that Sean is going to stay longer at Fox than Trump is staying in the White House.

I'm not going to discount his ability to completely flip the script November 2020 and just be a different guy with different views.

But will he be able to bring his audience (i.e. reliable targets for advertisers of junk) with him after denouncing Trump?
That is the relevant question.

False dichotomy, I'd say.
