Yeah, it's pretty good. This one was my favorite:

"Tune in next week when Trump explains how we can prevent earthquakes with gigantic u-bolts..."

Or the recommendation when First Lady in Fact, Ivanka, takes control of the global warming commission: "Get your decorator to paint your country in cool colors and leave a couple of windows open on opposite sides of the country to allow a cooling breeze to flow through."

I’m choosing to respond to your post, though there have been countless others like it over the years along the lines of ”I can’t believe Trump doesn’t understand that yadda, yadda...” My guess is that he likely does comprehend many details of these matters, but his overall goal in demonstrating what to many might appear to be comical levels of ignorance is to plant & sow the seeds of doubt among the base (and maybe even independents). PR is the name of his game, and I don’t mean Puerto Rico.

But he could also be dense as an anvil, the two possibilities not mutually exclusive.

This is my view as well.

I'm surprised Trump isn't claiming that video is RAKE NEWS from the RAKE NEWS enemy of the people at CNN.

He can write?

Question: At what point prior to or following the meeting between key members of your team and lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya on 9th June 2016 did you become aware of contact between these parties?

Answer: [Crayon drawing of stick figure with big boobies labeled "Melaneya']

More from FOX interview:
"I did not know that," Trump said, when asked if he was aware prior to appointing him that Whitaker had argued Mueller was coming close to exceeding his authority. "I did not know he took views on the Mueller investigation as such."
Linky.

It's good to know that even FOX News has a line beyond which they won't go and Trump even manages to cross that. (Remember FOX backed Acosta, too.)

As for raking the forests, I think that may be in part, Trump doing a little snarky payback to a place and a people he loathes: California. Hey, put freakin Nancy Pelosi out there with a rake. Let her do some real work for a change. Bottom line: it's California. Who cares? wink-wink

He keeps saying that it's all about management of the forests. Why isn't the media asking Trump why he's mismanaged the National Forests?

I caught CNN this morning and they had a joke about Trump's book being shorter if it didn't have 4 Chapter 11's.....

I get the feeling he's worried about how badly refusing to honour the fallen will have played in the military.

Please he only likes known soldiers who don't get captured. It is really simple. I mean insulting POW's played fine with the military so why should this really hurt their view of him?

Why is it business-as-usual that the President gets to call the Election rigged, declaring massive voter fraud, and no one bats an eye?

Look the courts ruled that no reasonable person could ever take anything he says seriously. That is how he won the defamation suit from Stormy against him. Why shouldn't we go with that?

No. The VA has been a rolling dumpster fire for a good while now,

Yes and no. The thing is that once they get treatment most veterans are very happy with the VA and really do get first rate treatment. The hassles they have to go through to get it is the problem. Though really I am not so sure it is fundamentally worse than the health care system in general. The VA doesn't have the financial incentive that private insurance does to kill the patients after all.

The thin-skinned narcissist in chief again showing disrespect for the military as well as one of their best,

In the interview, Trump engaged in a tense exchange with Fox News' Chris Wallace when the host brought up McRaven, a vocal Trump critic who led the operation in 2011 during former President Barack Obama's administration.
"Bill McRaven, retired admiral, Navy Seal, 37 years, former head of US Special Operations..." Wallace started.
"Hillary Clinton fan," Trump said, cutting off Wallace.
"Special Operations ..." Wallace continued.
"Excuse me, Hillary Clinton fan," Trump said.
"Who led the operations," Wallace added, "commanded the operations that took down Saddam Hussein and that killed Osama bin Laden, says that your sentiment is the greatest threat to democracy in his lifetime," a reference to McRaven's criticisms of Trump's attacks on the media.
"OK, he's a Hilary Clinton backer and an Obama-backer, and frankly ... wouldn't it have been nice if we got Osama bin Laden a lot sooner than that? Wouldn't it have been nice? You know, living -- think of this -- living in Pakistan, beautifully in Pakistan."

How often can this president piss on the core values of his base without drawing criticism from them?

How long will be before Trump will be claiming that he could have led a successful raid on OBL himself in 1999 but Obama/Hillary/Mueller prevented him from doing so.
