The tricky bit is not the silence on the caravan, the tricky bit is the silence on the middle-class tax cut.
Its all the Democrat's fault!

Actually, if I were the democrats, I would make the very first bill you come up with in the house one that:
- cuts taxes for lower income people
- Increases taxes for wealthy people (or increase corporate taxes). Not by a lot (you don't want to shock the system too much right away), but just enough to cover the lower class tax cuts, and maybe decrease the deficit (or at least be revenue neutral)

Challenge the republicans to vote your bill down. It will only stress that the republicans are only interested in helping the rich. If the republicans vote it down in the senate or trump vetoes it they look bad. If the bill goes through, it helps reestablish a little financial sanity

The sneering hypocritical misogyny of the left.

A few random posters on a pissant message board are not representative of “the left.”

Furthermore, please note that no one defending President Donald “grab them by the pussy” Trump can ever claim the moral high ground when making accusations of sneering misogyny.

One does not have to claim the high ground to decry the misogynistic attacks on Melania Trump, all one has to do is avoid diving into the cesspool, something that many of our posters seem to be unable to resist.

Attacks? You only linked to one attack.

TBD: I am completely insulted by the way "The Left" is treating women.

Also TBD: Stormy Daniels is a money grubbing whore that should be shunned.

Neat.

Belatedly, my favorite part of his epic press conference meltdown was when he listed the Republicans who didn't fully embrace him, and proceeded to lose. It might as well be a scene from Heathers.

That reminds me of this clip

Trump's attack on Macron lacked 'common decency', France says

US President Donald Trump's tweets mocking his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron were inappropriate and showed a lack of "common decency", France says.

On Tuesday, Mr Trump attacked Mr Macron over nationalism, plans for a European army and the French leader's ratings.

"We were marking the murder of 130 of our people," French government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux said, referring to the 2015 Paris attacks.

It follows Mr Trump's awkward Armistice Day visit to Paris over the weekend.

Mr Griveaux said 13 November was a date for France to mark the tragic incidents of three years ago in Paris and Saint-Denis, when co-ordinated suicide bombings and mass shootings killed 130 people and wounded hundreds more.

"So I will reply in English: 'common decency' would have been the appropriate thing," he told reporters on Wednesday.

Curious, the person who bitterly and falsely complained that I was bringing up matters from another thread is fraudulently attributing things I never said to me in the Stormy Daniels thread.

Pathetic.

Gaze upon what fraudulent mischief the leftists use to defend the indefensible.

Trump Tweets

"Was just briefed by @FEMA_Brock and @SecretaryZinke, who are in California. Thank you to the great Firefighters, First Responders and @FEMA for the incredible job they are doing w/ the California Wildfires. Our Nation appreciates your heroism, courage & genius. God Bless you all!"

Nomally I don't believe in dragging a politician's wife into the fray, but if Melania is going to try to play Madame Du Barry and/or the Empress Alexandria, then she has given up her non combatant status.

For a Die Hard Trump supporter to get all outraged over some name calling is one of the more hypocritical things I have seen lately. And I have seen a lot of hypocrisy...

Trump Tweets

"Not seen in many years, America’s steelworkers get a hard-earned raise because of my Administration’s policies to help bring back the U.S. steel industry, which is critical to our National Security. I will always protect America and its workers!"

Sadly, wouldn't work. It would be spun just like they spun the original: taxing the rich would hurt the job creators, and look how low the unemployment rate is! Cutting their taxes before obviously worked...

That's the excuse/justification they used when the Republicans first cut taxes, but despite their supposed 'success' the tax cuts weren't very popular (only 39% approve/46% disapprove of them). And, most people aren't seeing a personal benefit. So, people are rightly seeing the Republican tax bill as "gifts for the wealthy". Republican 'spin' doesn't seem to be working with voters.

Do something that might actually benefit the poor or middle class and even more people might ignore Republican spin.
