Maybe your side of the pond. A lot of the Tories sound to me as though they still call their parents "mummy" and "daddy" (except for those who refer to them as "mater" and "pater").

As an aside, one of my friends father was one of the Fleet Air Arm instructors who was seconded to the US to help set up the Top Gun school. He says that he had a very enjoyable social life in the US as a fast jet pilot with a British accent.

Defense policy is complicated and it takes a human with near average intelligence to understand it. Obviously it's beyond Trump. It's just too complicated for him. He should have brought staffers who could grasp basic concepts.
