Just saw on Twitter that Sinema has taken the lead in Arizona.

I think the lesson for tonight is that the Democrats' overreaching cost them. Overreaching on Kavanaugh cost them their chance at the Senate, and overreaching on the Democratic socialist agenda cost them in Florida. Overreaching on Beto cost them millions of dollars.

You were aware that there was a 9.2% shift for Democrats and that they had the best results in an election since Watergate?

That they also restored 1/3 of the state seats lost over Obama's 8 years in office?

That they picked up 6 Governorships?

And they picked up the House against gerrymandering that needed a 7% swing to overcome?

Even in the Senate that got nearly 50% more Senate votes than Republicans, but lost mostly due to the seats up for reelection being in insanely red states.

Yes, that system might, but wouldn't it be pretty difficult to get a minority elected President if all the Electoral votes were apportioned according to the popular vote?

The GOP in Texas already stated that they oppose teaching critical thinking in schools because it challenges the students' fixed beliefs and undermines parental authority.
