Cont: The Trump Presidency X: 10-10 'til we do it again

It looks to me like Sessions long ago wrote a Letter of Resignation to prove his loyalty to Trump. Since then he has regretted writing it, but Trump kept it and used it now.

I thought that was standard practice for cabinet members, and not just under Trump.

Weird, you went from accusing me of lying based on nothing to claiming it was not a push because her arm stayed in "virtually the same place" (hoo boy, that is some next level bs there) and that the female INTERN went to far.

watch from 5 seconds to seven seconds, and ask your selves folks, who ya gonna believe, Babbylonian's opinion or your own lying eyes.
....

Maybe not as clear as you think.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Wednesday night shared a video of CNN reporter Jim Acosta that appeared to have been altered to make his actions at a news conference look more aggressive toward a White House intern.

The edited video looks authentic:
Acosta appeared to swiftly chop down on the arm of an aide as he held onto a microphone while questioning President Trump. But in the original video, Acosta’s arm appears to move only as a response to a tussle for the microphone. His statement, “Pardon me, ma’am,” is not included in the video Sanders shared.

As the person who made the comment I think equating the actions of the President to those of random anti-fa yahoos (who should be subject to criminal complaint if they break the law) is pretty desperate.

I thought that was standard practice for cabinet members, and not just under Trump.
It's a custom that Cabinet members all tender their resignations at the end of a re-elected President's first term so that the President is free to choose new Cabinet members as s/he might desire without potential conflict if a member wishes to remain in place.

"I agree that this is probably not tactically sound, but I honestly cannot empathize with Tucker Carlson’s wife at all — I am utterly unable to identify with her plight on any level."

"I don't think of my ideological antagonists as bad people because I disagree with them. But I make an exception in Matt Yglesias' case."

TBD isn't yet aware of the Infowars edit.

Oh man! Infowars and NBC are in cahoots?

That is some new folks!

Let us all thank skeptic ginger for bring the fact that the clip directly from NBC was edited!

Thanks SG!

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

It's understandable that you are trying to distract from the fact that during the Press briefing, Trump smeared himself with his own excrement.

I suspect TBD knows. I also suspect that TBD doesn't care. After all, CNN is the 'enemy of the people'.

I suspect SG knows I did not link to an edited version of the assault. I also suspect that SG doesn't care. After all, TBD is the 'bane of the leftists'.

Would it be appropriate for them to slam Carlson to the ground? After all, that's what Gianforte did to a reporter... and he was praised by Trump. So obviously violence against reporters is somehow acceptable, isn't it?

I find it amazing... Some low-profile people in an organization that isn't even affiliated with the Democrats gets held up as some sort of representative of "the left" when they talk about violence. On the other hand, the republican president (not some anonymous yokels, but the guy who currently enjoys a majority support within his party) actually praises violent acts. Yet the right-wingers here seem to think the actions of the anti-fa people are somehow more significant.

Great point and very few here are supporting the antics of antifa
