Unemployment data doesn't include people who have been out of work so long they are no longer considered to be looking. Overall employment rates have been slowly rising since they tumbled in the Bush recession, but are still on the low side compared to the last 30 years. Furthermore the trend hasn't changed at all since trump took office.

Doesn't count, because that graph only gives you data for every 5 years.

At least, that's how I'm given to understand how graphs work. Baylor can explain it to you.

I’m not sure what you mean. The axis only has labels for every 5th year but it’s monthly data.

I was making a joke referring to another thread, in which Baylor dismissed a graph that only had each January marked in the same way that this one does every 5 years as meaning that it only showed the data from each January.

I’m a straight, white, Christian man in an industry that benefits from this maladministration and its accomplices, and I look forward to voting after work to flush them down the toilet of history before they do more damage to this country.
