Well, that would be a disqualifier, but I wasn't aware that she makes money from conning gullible people. How so?

She'a made her fortune peddling woo. Perhaps the most classic example is when she repeatedly promoted The Secret. Since the philosophy of The Secret is that the way to get anything you want is to wish for it and that if you actively work to try to achieve your goals you're doing it wrong, and since Winfrey worked hard to get to where she is, she hasn't got the excuse that she believes that it's true. Got great ratings, though.

Other examples include: She was responsible for giving Jenny McCarthy a platform (first through multiple appearances on Winfrey's show, then by giving her her own talk show) to start the whole anti-vaxx craze that is getting bigger and claiming more lives every day; Christine Northrop is another anti-vaxxer (and woman who diagnoses using Tarot cards and who pushes treatments known to exacerbate conditions) Winfrey has promoted a lot; she not only gave Suzanne Sommers a platform to spread her hormone-injection regime nonsense that real doctors have made clear is life-threatening, she claimed to have started the regime herself and that it had made her more healthy; promoting faith healing; promoting psychic surgery; she created Dr. Phil; she created Dr. Oz. And so on.

She made her fortune by pushing dangerous ideas because they get good ratings.

You can still use her celebrity to get a candidate elected, if you want. Just get her to endorse him or her. Just make sure the candidate is actually qualified for the job. You really don't want Trump to become the norm, do you?

Outside of Nigerian princes, why would any soldier in Nigeria care about what Trump says? If in defense of some action my captain took, he played a video of something Muhammadu Buhari said, I would look at him like he had a penis growing out of his forehead.
the US is a permanent UN Security Council member.

Perhaps he was speaking to a broader audience.

Wow, The Nigerian Army used something Trump said to justify killing 45 people. Just when you thought that thing infesting the White House couldn't be more despicable.

In an attempt to justify it. Did it succeed in justifying it to someone?

I think you will find that it is the lying media’s fault. And Karen Travers specially.

"A vicious accuser of Justice Kavanaugh has just admitted that she was lying, her story was totally made up, or FAKE! Can you imagine if he didn’t become a Justice of the Supreme Court because of her disgusting False Statements. What about the others? Where are the Dems on this?"

Is this actually true, or is it just a Trumpism?

It's true, but it's not any of the three people whose claims were actually taken seriously. I'm going off memory here, and am not in a position to find a link, but there was a letter sent to the FBI (IIRC) detailing the rape of 2 women in the back of a car. The letter was anonymous but a woman later claimed to have written it. When authorities questioned her she then denied that she'd written it and said she'd just claimed to have to get attention.

She seems to contradict herself quite a lot in what she does or does not claim and/or take credit/responsibility for.

Not that Trump wants people to infer that it was one of the 3 accusers that actually made it to the news in any significant way.

Local man, born in California, says Border Patrol wrongfully deported him

https://news4sanantonio.com/news/lo...ia-says-border-patrol-wrongfully-deported-him

According to a claim sent to Homeland Security from the man's attorney, 24-year-old Julio Cesar Ovalle was walking to his local H-E-B off Potranco Road on June 11 when he was stopped by a Border Patrol agent. The claim alleges the agent began to ask Ovalle for his papers, making derogatory statements at him and implying he was in the country illegally. All Ovalle had on him that day was cash and his cellphone as he had left his wallet with his Texas ID card in his dad's car.

The claim goes on, saying Ovalle was forcefully put into the agent's vehicle and his phone taken away. All the while, Ovalle continued to insist he was a U.S. citizen and could get his papers if given the chance.

Ovalle was taken to the Cotulla station. During the drive, the agent allegedly continued to berate Ovalle about where he crossed, and other similar comments. The next day, Ovalle was transferred to Laredo where agents continued to ask him about his immigration status. The claim says agents did not believe him and forced him to sign papers he did not understand. Ovalle speaks little English and was placed in special education classes in high school, where he did not graduate.

The same day, Ovalle was sent to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, without seeing a judge, making a phone call, speaking with an attorney or even an opportunity to obtain the papers, according to the claim.

After being deported to Mexico, Ovalle was able to finally call his father who said he was on his way with the papers and instructed him to wait outside. However, while waiting, Ovalle says he was abducted by members of the Mexican cartel. They then took him to a home outside of Nuevo Laredo and held him for ransom.

Never misses a chance to make it all about him, does he? Or to lessen Obama. That man has such an inferiority complex when it comes to Obama. As well he should.
