He's also transactional, so responses are aimed at winning perceived transactions that are either a win or a loss for his ego. Self-reflection would be a loss, so he avoids it.

It's going to be at least a few weeks so you can bet that those servicepeople stationed on the mainland who originally thought they would be able to spend Thanksgiving (and maybe Christmas) with their families are going to be eating C-rats in a quonset hut instead.

It’s a plan. I think Trump has maximised turn out by now. Only a big disaster would raise it from 95 to 99%.
 
I got a sick feeling with Bolton's "Trio of Tyranny" tireade that the groundwork for the next war is being set up.

That will change when the body bags start coming home...as is inevitable.
I cannot believe that somebody with Trump's mentality will not end getting us involved in a bloody war. I am worries that Bolton's Trio of Tyranny statement will lay the groundwork for this.
