I was hoping to see the entire speech at the Young Black Leaders meeting. Just waiting for him to slip up and say something like "I love you people!"

No, it hasn't spiraled out of control.

Makes one wonder though, what are the steps that lead up to a Hitler or a civil war and how long do they take. I'm sure it's more than a couple incidents here and there. But I don't know how fast it can escalate.

But today he's blaming other countries for the high price of drugs in the US. But if he wants someone to blame, he needs to look no further than the US Congress. Specifically the GOP although some bought and paid for Democrats have also been involved. They have been protecting the drug companies from day one.

When the Medicare Prescription drug program was enacted under W, the Democrats pushed to allow the Federal government to negotiate for bulk prices. This would have saved the country billions each year as well consumers. But the Republicans and George W prevented it.

I'll believe this when I see it. He'll have no problem probably getting the Dems to go along unless there is some poison pill. But my guess is it will be a non-starter with the Republicans.

He offers voters a lot of free ponies.

It goes with his repeating pattern, he gets wind of people not liking him, like when he hears about the blue wave. So he panics and goes out stoking the fear mongering. Not enough front page news, throw in a middle class tax giveaway and cheaper drug prices. All with the magical stroke of a pen because he's a magical POTUS king and his people love him. The press is lying that they don't.

It doesn't matter if he can, people believe his dishonest promises, then they rationalize why it didn't happen, like Mexico paying for anything.

He might be criticizing them locally and we're just not hearing it nationwide.
 
Democrats can and should use the bomb terror to admonish Trump and all Republicans whenever their rhetoric uses language of violence.
Trump supporters are so proud that their leader is "speaking his mind".
This is where this can lead.

The guy who can’t make it through one-page intelligence briefings is talking about never quitting.

He does have the confidence and pride. No one will ever beat him in those two categories.
