We don't even know how good he is at "hustling real estate", considering that there are suspicions that he is being kept afloat by: 1) Money laundered on behalf of Russians, and 2) sketchy sales techniques (including deceptive marketing of his real estate).

Don't forget daddy's money as insurance. I love the story about Fred Trump sending someone to Trump's casino to buy $3.5 million in poker chips and leaving, so Donnie could make his loan payment.

I am mildly amused by this take on some of Trump's recent claims. It's so true, after all.

After GOP savaged middle-class Americans, Trump suddenly champions Democratic policies

On the other hand... this is a little bit of a brutal assessment by a conservative.

Republicans don't actually have an agenda right now.

Rachel Maddow had a segment last night about Republicans who have suddenly realized that healthcare is a big issue, particularly pre-existing condition coverage. It was a series of ads by Republicans promising to protect that coverage, including 2 governors who are still today suing to invalidate the ACA and 5 or 6 congressmen who voted 70 times to kill it. Republicans 2018: the proud party of deceit and hypocrisy.

My mother was diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment last year, and these are the sorts of mistakes she makes. Last time I was over for dinner, she kept calling the lasagna "pizza", for instance. The way he keeps changing topic in the middle of a sentence is similar as well.

Just saying.

Hence the use of hustling not developing.

Just in case people can't all read Wapo, or haven't read these articles in particular, or simply can't stand listening to trump talk at rallies, I'm including a few sample quotes from his rallies that have been listed in this Wapo article.

Personally, it's really difficult for me to believe that this is your president speaking. It's mind boggling that elected Republicans will stand by and let this happen, and that supporters will blindly accept these utterances. I am very hard-pressed to imagine what good can come from someone making pronouncements like this.

“They want to turn America, these Democrats — and that’s what they want — into a giant sanctuary for criminal aliens and the MS-13 killers.”
— Oct. 9 rally, Council Bluffs, Iowa
“Democrats want to abolish America’s borders and allow drugs and gangs to pour into our country unabated.”
— Oct. 10 rally, Erie, Pa.

“Democrats want to raise your taxes, impose socialism on our country, turn us into a Venezuela . . . turn us into another Venezuela, take away your health care, destroy your Second Amendment, and Democrats want to throw your borders wide open to deadly drugs and ruthless gangs. Come on in, everybody.”
— Oct. 19 rally, Mesa, Ariz.

“And by the way, your 401(k)s? Boom, they will go down like a sinking something. What sinks rapidly? Give me — a rock. They will go down like a rock. Democrats want to massively raise your taxes, impose socialism on our country. We’ll be another Venezuela. They want to take away your health care, destroy your Second Amendment, and I think the people in Nevada are not big on having your Second Amendment taken away.”
— Oct. 20 rally, Elko, Nev.

“As we speak, the Democrat Party is openly encouraging millions of illegal aliens to break our laws, violate our borders and overwhelm our nation. That’s what’s happening. The Democrats have launched an assault on the sovereignty of our country, the security of our nation, and the safety of every single American.”
— Oct. 22 rally, Houston

George Wallace was a Democrat who ran for president and lost (multiple times). Hey, that sounds identical to Joe's career. Bwahaha!

Hardly. George Wallace was never in the US Congress or Senate. Wallace was the kind of politician who would say anything to get elected. He started his political career almost being sympathetic to blacks in Alabama. In his first campaign for governor he ran against a candidate who was supported by the KKK. He was endorsed by the NAACP even. He lost badly.
After losing, Wallace said to a campaign aid, 'I was outniggered by John Patterson. And I'll tell you here and now, I will never be outniggered again.'

The next time he ran for Governor, he was elected and said famously said in his inaugural,

'In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny, and I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.'

Wallace has as much in common with Joe Biden as a squid has with a pineapple.

Very much like Dolt 45, though - except that the latter was a racist long before he ran for any political office.

The Democrats are heading for a midterms disaster

Until recently, it was widely assumed the Republicans would lose control of the House of Representatives in the midterm elections.

It was being depicted as a ‘damning referendum on Trump’ and historically, most presidents – like Obama - take a whack in the midterms.

But now, I’m not so sure.

In fact, I’d say there’s a very good chance the Republicans will hang onto the House, as well as the Senate, and Trump will move on empowered and emboldened to what could very well be an even bigger win in 2020.

People always hedge their bets as the event gets closer. Trump has been doing a lot of that himself saying it won't be his fault if the Republicans lose.

But I bet Trump will take credit if the Republicans win.

Any takers?

Something seems wrong about this. Almost manufactured.

Thought the same thing, but she claims not to know the man, so if it's manufactured, it's all on him (or she's lying) in which case it's still assault.
