I put that sort of thing in the same category as "second amendment solutions" comments that made a brief appearance in recent years.

No one was seriously suggesting political assassinations or feeding genitals to pigs. It was just a sort of inside joke. A way of demonizing people in a way that was meant to be taken "seriously, but not literally" to use a phrase that has come up a lot in connection with another politician.

The problem is that in these hypersensitive days, there might be someone who doesn't get the joke, and actually thinks that real action ought to be taken to....whatever it is that these yahoos think they're doing. So, it's really best not to talk about killing or mutilating your political opponents, even in jest.

I can take it completely literally & seriously in both cases, and there's still a massive difference. The source of one of them is a nobody whom nobody ever heard of or cares about. The other is the President and his party's cult-god.

This is not just happening in roads. The moderate left must speak out, or this will be reciprocated. People laugh about it, think its great their political opponents get harassed and beat -- until it happens to them, and the special interest groups they seem to put above everyone else. Everyone is equal, and treating anyone in the ways these "leftist mobs" do is not only disgusting, its quite dangerous. The reaction to it will be much stronger than you expect. It is hilarious you try to compare those extremely peaceful protesters to modern day Antifa. Were those protesters beating cars? Chasing people down that tried to pass them? Were those protesters calling people around them racial epithets while they vandalize their property?

You've used this image before, but it does not show you what you think it does. Facebook has detected that you react to moderate political posts, likely with a comment or like/angry/whatever. This has nothing to do with what you, yourself post, it's what you react to most often. And it does not matter whether your reactions are positive or snarky comments/angry emojis. If your reactions there have any resemblance to your posting style here, I can see why Facebook would make that assessment.

Facebook bases those ad settings on all of your activity, not just emoticons. (the affinity ones are because I've had a black girlfriend in the past, and a hispanic one) Anyhow, its irrelevant as I've said also in the very same post I've never claimed to be moderate. I would say slightly right of center, but definitely not out there. Some of my beliefs fall into the left center as well. For instance, I support womens choice about abortion. (exception being late terms, without medical emergencies) I also think marijuana should be legal on the federal level. I'm a conservative libertarian. I'm in favor of legal protests, and against illegal ones.

I'm also a firm believer that we should have a true meritocracy.
