First, your claims in this post are absurd.

Second, you should take a good look at the book I just finished, Gaslighting America, Why We Love It When Trump Lies to Us; by Carpenter, Amanda B.
It explains in great detail how Trump gets you to believe his lies.

Carpenter is a Republican, BTW.

All of the lies told by people in the Trump administration regarding Russian contacts gave probable cause.

Don't ignore that just because you find it convenient.

Probable cause is a reasonable belief that a person has committed or will commit a crime. For probable cause to exist, a police officer must have sufficient knowledge of facts to warrant a belief that a suspect is committing a crime. The belief must be based on factual evidence, not just on suspicion

Did you not read what I just posted?

Lies imply the liar feels a need to hide something implies that something just might be a crime.

Hence: Probable Cause. The investigation is to determine if, in fact, a crime was committed. That's how investigations work.

Are you simply unaware of all the lies told by the Trump administration team regarding Russian contacts?

Here, I'll include the definition for you of probable cause in a legal sense so you can perhaps understand, this requires evidence. Not just suspicion....

Not really sure why you're having a hard time with this:

It's a fact they lied. Hence, probable cause.

They didn't find evidence or corroborating witnesses because they weren't allowed to.

It's interesting that Trumpers hate the FBI when it comes to the Mueller investigation but think they FBI are fine people when they "investigate" Bart. I don't blame the FBI, they were hamstrung by Trump in Bart's investigation.

For one thing, the people that met with Russians in Trump Tower, having previously lied and said no such meeting occurred.
