When I see a publicity photo of some police community engagement event, how do I tell whether the policemen are kowtowing to the Muslims as opposed to merely consorting with the enemy? Is some degree of prostration needed?

Most mosques seem to be in repurposed existing buildings, such as room above retail units. Not so much "ugly" as nondescript. For all the EDL posturing, most people wouldn't know a building was a mosque unless it was pointed out to them.
