New SCOTUS Judge II: The Wrath of Kavanaugh

For a non USAian can someone explain; does the US not have freedom of speech? How can publishing politicians telephone numbers be a crime? Or did he go further and incite people to attack the politicians?

According to the U.S. Capitol Police Press Release, Jackson Cosko has initially been charged with:
- Making Public Restricted Personal Information
- Witness Tampering
- Threats in Interstate Communications
- Unauthorized Access of a Government Computer
- Identity Theft
- Second Degree Burglary
- Unlawful Entry
Additional charges may be forthcoming.

Freedom of Speech? Yes.

Freedom to publish info found on federal networks, databases, etc.? Iffy, and definitely not personal info. Specific information can be protected by law, such as college grades, medical info, classified data, and the like.

THIS.

Anyone stupid enough to vote for him probably left school before the end of 10th grade.

Newt Gingrich has a PhD in history from Tulane University.

Ann Coulter is a graduate of Cornell University, and also a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.

Actor James Woods attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he majored in political science.

I could go on and on, but you get the idea.

and you assume that all of them wouldn't have supported any other Republican candidate just as much?
We are talking about the people who supported Trump's nomination over the likes of Kasich or Bush.

If you were to read my posts on the subject, you would see a significant change of tone starting Thursday.

Prior to that, I was nervous about going back to high school days. After the statements from Smyth and Keyser were made public, I said that the event didn't happen the way Ford says it happened. However, I didn't have the strident, anti-Democratic sentiment you see now until they earned it through their actions on Thursday.

That has no bearing on what I said. You're twisting yourself in logical knots to defend Kavanaugh because you're flustered by the Democrats' behaviour. Grow up.

I already have, and I'm not on trial.

Regarding Graham's rant, it most certainly was hyperbolic. A lot of people on these boards have discussed what he was trying to do, or who he was trying to please. My explanation for that rant is simple. He meant it.

He made himself look more angry for effect. His rant was pre-written.

On the other hand, if it was all just and act, it was a darned good one. The right wing ate it up completely. They loved him.

Are you joking? No matter what he said or done they would've loved him. Have you missed the last few election cycles?

Someone in this thread (probably TBD or The Prestige) posted a link to a letter that allegedly came from Ford's ex-boyfriend who claimed the doctor had coached someone on how to take a polygraph in contradiction of Ford's testimony. The woman was named in the letter. That woman has issued a statement refuting the claim.
.

So the earlier link was actual fake news, then. Surprise.

If you can't trust an ex-boyfriend, who can you trust?

Just goes to show that both sides are perfectly willing to wallow in the pigsty of character assassination.

And yet you ignore the most salient point in all this.

And if they can’t?

You just missed a beautiful opportunity to show that you still have one shred of decendy.

I assume they will be voting for Trump in 2020, even though all of them made it past the 10th grade.

Now that the whole Russian collusion narrative has all but vanished

Just because the news isn't talking about it right now (Oph, Shiny!) doesn't mean the whole thing disappears. Or do you not have object permanence?

maybe Robert Mueller can spearhead a two-year investigation into "Boofing-Gate."

Yeah who cares if the man lied under oath. Is that really important compared to ******* over women? Nah.
