OBSERVATIONS
1. She seemed sincere, but lacked facts or corroboration.
2. He seemed sincere in his denial, and in his anger at the democrats for holding this and using it as a political smear.
3. That was Lindsay Graham's most powerful moment in politics.
4. Whoever that prosecutor they had question Ford, was put there only to not make it look like they were attacking her. As a sex crimes investigator, she had the credentials to question her without acting like a Bulldog defense attorney. If they had put a Defense attorney up there to grill her, and properly cross-examine her, they would have looked like they were rubbing salt in her wound.
5. 53-47 to confirm is my prediction.

Can a sitting SC justice be removed on criminal grounds?

Yes. The impeachment process. Requires a majority house vote, and 2/3 in the Senate.

To repeat a point from earlier, if the GOP pushes it through without an FBI investigation, the press will continue to investigate. If they dig up something that provides very strong evidence of sexual assault, I believe that he would be impeached, and probably convicted. So, if this nomination succeeds, don't despair that the final chapter has been written.

2/3 seems impossible for pretty much everything, now.

How can you expect a senate that would confirm this specimen to later on impeach him?

If he's confirmed, there will be no legal way to remove him. Thank God for second amendment solutions, eh?

If that was Graham's most powerful moment, it's a sad testimony to him personally and GOP politics in general.
How about he put some energy in helping to create an improved version of the ACA?

I couldn’t quite make out much of Lindsay Graham’s faux-rage over the background noise of his hypocrisy.

It's one of those moments that will go down in history, but not for the reasons Graham wants it to.

Breathtakingly disgusting.

That's a short thread, which has the letter embedded in one of the tweets.

I shared this on Facebook and a buddy of mine is claiming, "The Deep State! Why didn't they call for an investigation yesterday?! Some Dem contacted the ABA told them to release a statement about how they, the ABA is now calling for an investigation and a halt to the proceedings until the FBI's investigation is done."

I want to ask him about he combats chem-trails.

The thing that really gets me about this is that Kavanaugh is an experienced judge. He's seen plenty of dishonest, defensive, panicked testimony in his time. He knows precisely what it sounds like and how to avoid it. But here he is like a kid with his hand in the cookie jar. He is very obviously lying.

The mask slipped. Now we've seen him tearful, angry, and confrontational. From here it is no big stretch to imagine him drunk and horny.
